The best way to leave FB is to delete all photos, friends and change all settings for email alerts, eliminate all that you can about yourself. Then, change your name to something unrecognizable, write down a new password (something you'll never remember) that is a bunch of letters and numbers, rewrite the new password to confirm and press accept. After pressing accept destroy the new password you wrote down and. Viola! WARNING: Get the emails of your friends before doing this, I now contact and stay in touch via good ol' fashioned email. It's much more rewarding not to mention "private" as well.
After noting that a co-founder of Facebook was in attendance at the recent Bilderberg meeting along with many other software companies and internet retailers, I decided that I don't wish to be monitored by the gov't shills that run Facebook nor shall I be tracked for merely stating my opinions with just my friends (but the information doesn't stay private any longer). Therefor, I closed my account.
