Increase of glyphosate in food crops allowed from 200ppm to 6000ppm? I wonder how many people were paid off to make that kind of a change.

In response to Coleen Thornton: I'm not sure where it got your information from, as it is incorrect. GMOs have gotten to the point that they are present in most animal feeds unless they specifically state otherwise. Even in some organic feeds!! Farmers have to do their research and be willing (and able, which is the hard part) to pay an astronomical amount for most GMO free feed. GMOs are in the chemicals, in the seed, in the seed coating, in your neighborhood...these corporations have been quite successful in their sabotage of the food market.

Coleen Thornton 03.08.2013 12:34

Most local farmers DO NOT use much if any herbicides. Ask them what they use! GMOs are primarily in the corporate farms and commodity crops. There are very few vegetable crops GMO plants that are approved for use in the US and a majority of the local farmers use seed companies who take the Safe Seed Pledge to keep GMOs out of their seed supply. Local farmers know that their customers don't want GMOs and since they feed their family these same foods, neither do they!

I don't get all the calls to buy from local farmers. THEY USE GMO AND ROUNDUP TOO!!! Your only options are to eat organic or grow your own organic.

Monsanto disgusts me

Big picture.People in the nation are the corp. test subjects for gmo's, free med is the microscope.

David Osborne 28.07.2013 17:17

Vote for mandatory labeling if it comes up in your state. Another option. Grow your own or purchase from your local farmers market. The only way we will put a stop to this is to damage Monsanto financially.
Nothing else will make any difference. Your health and welfare means nothing to Monsanto, or to those in government that are in their back pocket.

We can survive without Mansanto if need be.

Tara Welsand 26.07.2013 18:31

Got to burn the fields while we still can, its happening in some places, needs to happen everywhere

Anonymous user 26.07.2013 08:49

2. There is the agenda to depopulate, so this is one part where one is attacked from all sides.

Anonymous user 26.07.2013 08:37

1. Monsanto had to increase the amount because the plants get immune to the pesticides.
