That's awesome...

This is a MAJOR victory for all who wish not to have the poison known as GMOs in our food supply. Now, if we could just get them to label everything that has the stuff in it...

Melissa Randall 26.09.2013 17:10

The bill itself should have been denied...

It's about time!

Abinico Warez. I am in no way a Monsanto supporter. In fact I will be marching against them Oct. 12, but My Satan in French is Mon Satan, not Mon Santos. More importantly YaY!!! to the end of the Monsanto Protection Act!

Abinico Warez 25.09.2013 21:25

Doesn't it bother people that Monsanto is French for 'My Satan' - why would anyone name a company 'My Satan' - think about it.

Don't forget friends, what we need is constant vigilance, don't think for a minute the slime will not try again to get
this vile rider passed. As many of us as possible need to
find out & make note of who voted for this & spread the
word, so we can VOTE THEM OUT!

Little Johnny may be right, as rogue Monsanto wheat was discovered in Oregon. Nonetheless, this is a huge victory for the people, and the first major defeat handed Monsanto - the first of many to come. Yes Virginia, Monsanto is vulnerable and we'll use it's vulnerabilities to take it down. It's time to clean house in Washington (all 3 branches - especially the courts) and rid the world of this criminal organization.

If harm is done to the viral infection that is Monsanto this is good news. Better news would have been than this disgusting, evil, organism had gone the way of Enron.

Digr ession
Editor I am still pissed off with reading about a cousin who earned enough by working on their laptop for ten minutes to by an Airbus 380.

Best wishes from the UK.

Who does Senator Pryor think he's fooling? His comments are pretty funny considering that he was one of the slew of Democrats that made the MPA possible in the first place.

Little Johnny 25.09.2013 12:36

The US Government is a system based on legalised corruption. What else do you call it when lobby groups can legally buy votes? That's not democracy. The Distinguished Gentleman was probably one of the most accurate (and funny) movies ever made about the US political system. Messing around with plant DNA is liking performing "improvements&q uot; to your scuba gear whilst being under water cave diving.

Little Johnny 25.09.2013 12:27

It's too late. The worlds staple crops are all contaminated with Monsanto. Monsanto and Bayer. It's like a tag team to destroy what's left of our planet.

My stomach will not process GMOs. I always end up vomiting.

I think my son has the same problem with hybridized wheat. He gets nausea and throws up after eating certain foods. When I heard about GMO wheat, I started to test it out. For example, I found he can eat a baguette from one bakery but not from another. It was only recently that I realised there might be a connection between this and GMO wheat.

Does anyone else have this problem?
(BTW, he has no allergies, no gluten intolerance)
