Could we perhaps see an end to cheap shots from politicians and pundits about inventing the Internet?

This seemingly immortal monster has been hacking the phones of the families of those whose children have been murdered to get a good story for his newspapers, and here he is crying out for the elite at the top; who are literally drowning in their billions, trying to protect them from losing as much as a dime for the short time it takes to write a song or turn up to do a movie take. As a Holocaust Denier - Won't bore you with the particulars. - I recently swithched to Gibiru because they say they don't censor stuff like Google does, though it looks like they get a alot of info from Google. There was quite an acrimonious dispute between Denier Bud, publisher of "Holocaust Denial Videos" and Youtube, owned by Google, a few years ago, about their censoring and ultimate removal of the about 30 hours of denier videos, which contain no overt POV problems and are in fact quite even-handed and informative, th ough the pueril and sophomoric videos uploaded as an antidote do, and they remain. So while Google is right to want a court order (assuming this is their gripe) before closing down someone's website on copyright grounds, their commitment to a free and open internet is not so sincere.

The entertainment industry makes way too much money off of us. Murdoch and many others have put so much money into it because as long as we keep watching the newest info about Britney Spears instead of what politicians are doing like him, then we remain oblivious to the crimes they commit. Why does the actress that just showed her stuff on tv get more money then the firefighters who just saved lives or the doctors that just saved lives. These real people in our world deserve more then any actor actress or any other entertainment faker. Football and other sports included. These people get so much money for doing nothing. Why is this and how is it right. We make this world work. We keep electric on, we keep food in stores, we keep products we need moving, yet, ... they get all the money. I think humans need to get their priorites straight.

Murdoch can afford to pump money into the pockets of politicians after hacking 1000s of peoples lives for stories. The man has no business complaining about IP rights when he has and probably still behaves like a unscrupulous scumbag. Politicians that take money from this guy are just as dirty.

If there was any law or justice in England he and his cronies would all be behind bars.
