I did not catch the name of the journalist talking to Johan Galtung. I was astounded by the arrogance in her manner and questions. She is mimicking exactly the brash style of the US Empire, and using just the same phrases and false logic constructs? She has imposed herself into the interview, leaving us with the impression that the guest is just some old fuddy-duddy, who does not "understand" that peace is just not always possible. In fact, she went even that far, as to concoct the same old imprerial threat justification, to make a case that dialogue can be exhausted. What a missed opportunity. Mostly thanks to the esteemed guest, we were able to have a glimpse of what he was trying to say. These kind of "pop" interview perhaps is OK for rap musicians, where being aggressive is just a style. In this context, it was embarrasing. The journalist sounded like an airhead, who upon hearing the news of the improved economy, just steemrolled over the guest with a different oppinion. I really wish RTV the best, but the quality of reporting is at times too arrogant, insensitive to the need of being respectfull, and is unfortunately at times speculative and prone to excess.

This is an evidence; but there is a few details which cannot be forgiven: 1) America possess over 10000 nucleaire war-heads. 2) When talking about american, you must separate the few thousands greedy croocks, who were the subject of President Eisenhower (January 21th 1961) and the great majority of decent humans who have simply falled asleep, listening to the syrenes of freedom, equal opportunity, american dream etc. Now, with the trillions $ spent to save banks and huge multi-national corporation, when practically nothing was given to the millions US citizen who had lost their job, their home and their beliefs. The evil will collapse within the next 2 years. Nothing indicates that the evil has recognized the seriousness of the situation. They should commit themselves to fiscal discipline; adopt balanced budgets and debt reduction programs. There is nothing of that. John Galtung may very well be a great human being( can't verify that )...he can tell a story about empires without a stutter or stammer....ALL empires fall sooner or later, but to put a date of 2020 on it shows a total absence of any Critical Thinking Skills. The poor guy is trying to sell a book. He has no sense of the "adaptability" of the USA...a mistake that so many make in predicting its future.

Don't hold your breath waiting for America to collapse. The current slide can be slowed or reversed if the United States elects new leaders and gets back to abiding by the United States constitution. America will profit immensely by getting back to reality. A fair playing field can be established for all Americans vice everything for the rich ruling class. It is not necessary to rape the working people of America to ensure economic survival of the country. The old wealth foundations need to be taxed out of existance to give the power back to the people in general vice the rich controllers. The USA will still be a major economic & military power in 2020 but it will never regain the absolute dominance it achieved in 1945,i.e., 50% of world industrial production, atom bomb etc. The collapse of the America Empire will no be with a bang but a long steady decline relative to China, India, Russia, Brazil etc. It can only be good for the whole world if no one country dominates the planet.
