S&P may downgrade US credit even after debt ceiling deal

Standard & Poor’s said yesterday that the US credit rating has a good chance of being downgraded due to the debt discussion stalemate marring Washington, and even a deal to raise the ceiling doesn’t mean they won’t downgrade the country’s rating.

If you’re not too keen on the current state of the US Congress, you are far from alone.

A poll released today by CNN reveals that 84 percent of Americans disapprove with the way Congress is handling its job. The research, obtained by nearly 900 Americans, reveals that satisfaction with the US Congress is at the lowest it has been in the 40 years since the start of Gallup polling. Additionally, it is the first time that approval dropped below 20 percent since 1992.

The research, conducted yesterday on August 1, shows an approval rating to President Barack Obama equal to the results of a poll taken during the third week of July. In both instances, 45 percent of those surveyed said they approve of the president’s job. That is the second lowest it has been since he came into office in January of 2009, however. Though the president’s approval rating was at 76 percent in February of that year, it dropped to 42 percent in the fall of ’09.

The final question on the 24 pages of info released by CNN today shows another predictable — yet hilarious — result of the survey. When asked if they felt like politicians in Washington have acted more like responsible adults or spoiled children in regards to recent debt ceiling debates, more than three-quarters of those polled said the latter.

That’s right. 77 percent of Americans believe that Washington is made up of spoiled children. When political affiliation is taken into consideration, 80 percent of Democrats polled share those sentiments.

John Boehner knew what he was doing - taking more money from Social Security Medicare Medicaid - he is corrupt - while the rest of congress vacations and solicits more campaign money from Lobbyists. Corruption has no change of stopping unless campaign funds made illegal. Buying our congress isn't democracy. Only way for Dems/Repubs to stay in congress is to solicit from Lobbyists? Is Ron Paul [R-TX] the only congressman to speak truth? And when he does MSM calls him kook - [can't get on ballot unless democrat or republican - 2 party system of Duopoly]. MSM billionaire owners [given Broadband Cable for FREE from Congress] supports corruption in WashDC to the fullest. If all of America could vote Ron Paul we could have so many changes for better - even a new auto industry totally Made In The USA - & if done w/o unions & rules/regs that support unions Americans could have jobs again - but NO the unions are in control & give millions to Obama The Job Killer.Honor the Constitution = Ron Paul. The Fed was designed by bankers for bankers & Wall Street - their pattern continues. Congress orders IRS get more money from citizens even the unemployed ... take from their unemployment.Americans must do the research or like Ben Bernanke said unemployment will go to 50% will happen.Americans at least should view all interviews with Ron Paul.Talk against Obama and comment pulled.Talk too much against Obama and your name pulled from that network.Just vote for Ron Paul and let's get a government working for the people again.

Americans keep watching RT News - get the whole truth.Just compare RT News with U.S. TV News Media owned & controlled by big business for Corporations who get rid of employees and sell companies under SEC noses and put profits into Off-Shore Investments to escape taxes then invest in other countries [GM of Mexico auto plants put their profits into other countries - now GM wants more Stimulus.... they kept US auto workers out of jobs & want taxpayers to pay them again].Even Russia saying their debt buying of America went up 1600% - and Putin called USA "parasites". USG sells their debt [for high interest payments] to China & Russia.... and Hillary went to China to "convince" them to buy our debt. Even China Army military leader Chen said "stop financing wars and take care of your own country".
Keep reading RT News and compare with USA controlled News Media. If US News commentator talks again Obama he is fired and never to get job in USA again - they feel they must protect their multi-million dollar salaries - someone has to report USG propaganda - might as well be them.
