you should be ashame of yourself mel.flaunting your catholism and being a hypocrite.your wife bore your many children so you could be unfaithful with a girl half your age.well money isnt going to save you in hell for adultery.now you have a russian that can spend the rest of your money.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, I would hope for all involved that things may get better with time and that you will find a better day down the road. Oh and for all you others out there who seem to want to speak badly about this, try and have a little compassion for all concerned, remeber it isn't hard to make human mistakes being human that is!

I do not know who reads all this but I just happen to be reading about Mel and decided I wanted to make a few comments. Mel is a human being not God and human's make mistakes. There is only one sin that will not be forgiven and that is not believing in The Lord. The bible is very plain about that. Jesus forgave the woman that had four husbands and was at the time living with another man. Jesus forgave her and said go and sin no more. God knows what everyone does and one sin is not bigger than another. Mel and Robyn I am praying for you and your children. I am sure Mel will not see this but at least I said my peace.

What a disappointment. Fame and fortune can destroy a family faster then any;thing else. Then, of course, we don't know how he really treated his family. Took care of them I'm sure but evidently didn't treasure them enough to protect them from his ego. I feel bad. Really, really bad but down the road he'll feel worse. He had a wife who loved him for himself. He will never know this for sure again. Money will attract many who will sign up for a temprary role. Old, he will misss the comradairie of a big, loving, faily celebrating years of love and togetherness. It will never be the same.

Un-named yet and not responsible, his or her entrance into the world should be considered a blessing and not the obvious result of a trailer moment. I am sorry for you "Mr." Gibson. Apparently nobody seems to be able to read your body language very well. Our bodies don't lie do they Mr. Gibson? Based on the "so-called" pictures I've seen (and who am I anyway?). Seems to indicate that you are treating this young women with the utmost respect and dignity. Mel, I was sooo disapointed in this affair with a Russian, of all people. How do you know that she is not a Russian spy. I am a Traditional Catholic and so were you and we all were so glad that someone in Hollywood could be so grounded in the Catholic Faith. You know the consequences to what you have done to hurt our Lord and Lady. How could you give up your Faith in the Catholic church outside of which there is no Salvation. How could you make a movie on the "Passion of the Christ" and then disappoint your family, and all of us Traditional Catholics. I feel sorry for you on judgment day. I ask that you end this relationship with this Russian Woman and go to confession and get back to your real family. It is time to get out of Hollywood and live a normal life with your real family. Robyn I am very sorry this had to happen. Many people looked up to a 28 year marriage of a Hollywood star. Your children must be very disappointed and hurt. It seems as though you forgot your wedding vows to your wife Robyn. Till death do we part. You are a piece of work Mel. I feel let down as a Traditional Catholic and wonder what your father thinks of this. Being A Catholic means one Marriage only or you are excommunicated from the church. Do you really want that?

Mel is a guy, great actor,but ultimatly a guy..Sick of people who worship other people...He is a human who works a job that pays him real good, but has it's prices to pay, like he has lost his privacy, he has women and men alike throwing themselves at him on a regular basis.Photo hounds following him everywhere. There are millions of dollars to be made on Mels every little mis steps in life that would be overlooked if he was allowed to be Just another guy...Maybe you catholics should keep your eyes on God and not so much on Mel, Mel worship is a sin too...Life for us all would be a straight boring line to hell if it wasn't for the two wonderful gifts from God called "free will" and "forgivness". No one is perfect but forgivness gets us all one step closer!
