Biden’s bloopers complicating US-Russia relations

The US Vice President’s harsh statements about Russia are his own, not a preplanned move by the White House, says political analyst Ivan Eland.
Why oh WHYYYYYYY did Pres. Obama choose such a vp. He is undermining and counterproductive to Obama's wonderful Iq and intellect.
Would the US want a strong Russia? NO! Would the US want a stable Russia? NO! This is as simple as 1, 2, 3. No comments or geopolitical analysis are required. Biden is expressing the wish AND policy of all US administrations, past and present. Biden or no Biden, the truth will never change. It hasn't for the last 200 years.
Please ignore Vice President Biden's comments. We apologize if he has offended anybody. He does not speak for most American citizens. To Count Chocula - You are definitely misunderstanding what's going on, please study the real facts before you comment about my country. Thanks...
If anyone even for a moment thinks that the US government, who can't even keep its own books in order and mismanages everything it's tasked to do, can train terrorists and use vast NGO networks to bring about the fall of Russia is drinking too much. If anything Biden's words mean that the USA will do nothing but wait and see and just hope Russia comes around to his way of thinking. This is Biden, and his boss Obama, who are running the USA toward socialism faster then Russia ran from Marxism. This is Biden, so sees nothing wrong with putting the USA trillions of dollars in debt in 6 months and selling that debt to China. Russia has nothing to worry about from the Obama, Biden team. Sleep well in Moscow.
Excellent comments Count Cash.
Biden is an idiot and does not represent the publics opinion
Count-- Please.. you are giving way too much importance to what Joe Biden says.. Joe Biden is an Idiot.. Please ignore anything that comes out of his mouth. However do not trust our current president..
Dear Count Cash, I couldn't agree more. A spot-on assessment of what is really going on. Speaking of NGO's this is, of course, where the real dirty work goes on "under cover". I remember seeing Kasparov being arrested after he and a few others tried to illegally march down Tverskaya to Red Square. The foreign press denounced Russia's democracy. They time and time again made no mention of the legal gathering at Pushkinskaya that day. No. Just focus on confrontation and make no mention that what they were doing on Tverskaya was not sanctioned by the authorities. Close Tverskaya for some marchers and you will have gridlock, on a Saturday......traffic chaos guaranteed. Kasparov got a very tiny fine by the way, something the Western press totally did not report. Oh, and if I am to believe Western media about lack of democracy could they please explain how it was I regularly saw peaceful protests in central Moscow, citizens exercising their rights and liberties under The Constitution of The Russia Federation ( for the BBC and Sky News, it's best not to report this kind of thing. After all, it might give people the right impression) Funny, the whole time I was in Russia I never once heard a Russian complaining about lack of freedom or democracy. Not once. It was always a foreigner. Where I come from, a democracy by the way, if I got a whole lot of marchers together to block a busy city street without a permit...I would be arrested. It's called civil unrest and stopping people going about their daily business. Yet no one calls my country undemocratic. Mr Cash is right, foreign "organizations" feed money to domestic trouble makers in the hope that they can do some damage to Russia's stability. Fortunately Russians are smart and ignore them for the most part. They see them for what they are, Trouble Makers. Michael Hockney
Biden is just warming the air. If the American missiles appear in Poland that's it for the reset. If the missile deployment doesn't take place the vacuum created allows for a real adjustment of relations. All of Europe will now the truth by Christmas. Obama is likely to triangulate his policy with the anti Russian lobby in the Senate at a vertex. Destroying his support in Europe. He talks the talk but will not walk the walk. Political reaction and his desire for reelection will stop him in his tracks.
Wow, Biden and Obama are such an embarrassment to the United States. I think the U.S. and Russia would get along a lot better if we just stopped electing anyone to our government for a while. The people who run just want power. Power hungry people seem to thrive off of generating conflict so they can demonstrate a victory. Real Americans help fellow humans and just want to live without conflict.

I think Biden does Russia a service, because of his pretty uncontrollable lips, he manages to tell the world the whole soft power plan. Who needs a spy, when the other side has Biden. The nuggets of gold in this one, are 'concessions' and 'internal problems'. This gives the whole game away, concessions spell it out, that the US is looking to 'comquer' Russia, to bring it to heal, to make it subservient to the US. To be part of its global control and hegemony. Internal problems, point to the vehicle, Clinton et al. are trying to use to weaken Russia. The terrorists they are financing and training and the subversives operating from the NGO network within Russia. Clintons saving remarks are accurate, Russian for the US is a great country, great for exploitation. It will be interesting to see our reaction to this, maybe it's time to go more solidly into proxy mode and create more problems for the US in Afghanistan. After all it would be just returning the favour!
