A huge statue of Bill Clinton is being unveiled in the heart of Kosovo’s capital city. He’s celebrated there as the man who ordered NATO’s offensive against Serbia in 1999.

The Cosovo conflict is essentially just the same as the Georgia conflict. CNN justifies the western attack on former Jugoslavia and condemn the russian attack on Georgia, and RT does the opposite. No offence RT, but that is how it is... And what should the common man in the street really believe? As I see it, both the georgians and the serbs (that is, their governments) seemed to be warmongers. But what do I know...^^ RT is of course taking side with Russian interests, as CNN is taking side with US interests. But I respect both for beeing what they are, and enjoy reading them with that in the back of my mind. However, I do have problems finding a completly objective international news agency on the web, and that is really sad. Though, RT has a better layout than CNN, and much better articles in the science section;)

bill clinton's statue doesn't belong anywhere. He failed and disgraced his country and lied about his lewd activities in the oval office of the white house. His failures as president contributed to the current problems {financial and otherwise} the world is suffering and the downfall of morals everywhere.

@Epsilon No it is not the same Kosovo has always been Serbian starting during WW1 where Serbs were 90% ethnic Serbian under the different regimes during the centuries efforts have been made to undermine the Serbian population in the region to the point were during the 90's Serbs were a small minority with Albanians supporting mass illegal immigration into the province during the 90’s coupled with KLA terrorist attacks causing mass ethnic cleansing of Serbs (about 200,000) who are now the ruling junta in that province using barbaric torture methods of captured civilians cutting out eyes and tongues of civilians, cutting out organs of captured Serbs while they are still alive and selling them abroad, etc. Created and trained by the US, Turkey and British SAS I might add. All part of a colonial policy to steal the regions natural reserves and make a transit route for future Caspian oil into Europe. The US intervened based on fake allegations which have that Serbs were massacring Albanian civilians now been debunked like Racak which along with bodies like OSCE were preparing the war in Kosovo in 98/99. I guess it is good they have a statue it will be good photo op when Kosovo is liberated and it will be pulled down like Saddam’s in Iraq. As for Abkhazia and South Ossetia the two regions were part of the Russian empire and incorporated into Georgia under Stalin then only under autonomous status which the post Cold War leader of Georgia abolished and asserted control over the region by sending in troops and have tried to take the regions by force since despite peace agreements leading to operation Storm style assault and ethnic cleansing of South Ossetia by NATO/ US/EU and Israel. The difference between RT and CNN is that CNN constantly lies. It lied about Kosovo even having psych op interns in its headquarters to cover the war and it lied about the Georgian war.

Kosovo as a country? An invention of the west so the maffia can act at will. Have a look around, everywhere in the world where the yankees get roots in, become a drug heaven, Colombia, Afghanistan....etc. They NEED drugs and terrorists as water.

This is some of the most ridiculous spin I have ever seen on a story! They brought up this rando topic merely to create anti-american sentiment, then they only showed 3 people who had the same opinion

I believe Bill Clinton was a hero, Why you may ask? Well because when Kosova was in danger and no one would help us out guess who came to the rescue? Bill Clinton and NATO, I am so Thankful that I am here till this day I am so Thankful I made it out alive. I hate the fact that serbs thought they could do what ever they wanted, Im not saying that we Albanian's are better but the serbs started the war and I believe one by one who took part in that war Allah will punish them. No one deserves to be taken away from Their homes because they are scared and terrified. I love being an Albanian and no one could ever change my mind, I don't care what you have to say. Kosova has been alot better since we got our independince, and Ishalla it gets better, I visit there during the summer. I love it there, I miss everyone back home because I don't live there I moved to the U.S during the war. Well I answered your question, and Thank You once more Bill Clinton, Thank You for everything, words cant even explain how thankful I am. ~ Love Alma. :)

This is how WE see it..The Serbs were a bunch of Nazi Killers, trying to wipe out the Albanian muslims. We in America believe that we did the right thing. There isnt enough natural resources to blink an eye at serbia, and Alma is right, God (peace and love be upon him who created us) will weed and seed out the true villians when the time has come! I am not a muslim, nor toI care what religion you are, but we (USA) will ALWAYS come to the aid of those who are being treated unfairly, and we always will!

God Bless The US!

Roll Tide!
