Security company Blackwater, now known as Xe, is suspected to be planning bombings in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
Investigative journalist Wayne Madsen says it will not be easy for Blackwater to restore its image despite the company’s efforts.
“I don’t know how successful they are going to be at revamping their image,” Madsen told RT. “We are dealing with a company that has very strong links to the Republican Party, to the extreme right wings in this country. The idea of engaging in false flag attacks to get the warring parties at each other’s throats is nothing new; the same charges have been leveled against Blackwater/Xe in Pakistan by, among others, the former heads of the Pakistani Inner Service Intelligence Organization (EISI). They have also been thought to be behind the roadside bombings in Algeria that were blamed on Islamist Al Qaeda in North Africa.”

Blackwater, Topcat and other Bush-Cheney linked mercenary firms have been operating in Somalia for a while now. In addition, the United States has also deployed the service of African mercenaries from Uganda and Ethiopia to bring nothing but misery to Somalia. Still, the U.S imperialism will never ever break to will of this proud nomadic people. The Somalis will outlast the end of the U.S empire.
Blackwater organization is no different to the Black and Tans in Ireland in 1920. These were men recruited by the British government to assist the police in their crack down on the Irish who wanted their independence. They were a law unto themselves and those who joined were ex soldiers from the first world war. The atrocities they committed against the Irish people included murder, torture all done in the most indiscriminate manner. The Blackwater organization is exactly the same, all are ex military personel and a law unto themselves. They are supported by the American government. In fact they could be judged as a terrorist organization in today's terminology.

Does anyone really think Blackwater is in Somalia? It would be more likely the French Foreign Legion, which no longer exists.
