New York has seen a 45 per cent increase in homelessness and one and a half million people have left, saying life is too expensive since Mayor Michael Bloomberg came to office eight years ago.
Why would America's rich even care about the homeless, impoverished, exploited and forgotten underclass. Billionaires have never cared about the downtrodden, hopeless people. It's a wealth thing. Some Americans have up to sixty billion dollars or more and control huge nonprofit foundations on the side. They are just too rich and out of touch to be bothered by the helpless. After all, they own and control the American news media, so they can prevent attention being paid to these people.so they don't look like a bunch of heartless thieves. They have the money and the power. Just give the homeless bums a bus ticket out of New York City and you are rid of them. Just ask a billionaire. hOW MUCH LONGER CAN THIS GO ON?

I have never seen so many homeless people like in the US (in particular San Francisco, Philadelphia, NYC and Washington DC)!!!
