Was Hillary easy to bargain with in the meetings with Russian leaders? Easier than Bush and Rice? I thought so. She learned a lot from husband, Bill.

The west is known by its fine words and evil deeds. What we want to see is deeds by Clinton, it is as simple as that. Yes we need to build trust ... but don't ask for that whilst you are training, arming and supporting terrorists in our country. Don't ask for that when you are at every opportunity trying to destroy us politically and militarily. When you are trying to build more and more bases around us. Because at the moment the cooperation looks more like 'using' on issues you are interested in. Show us you can do something at a disadvantage to you. That is cooperation, where there is give and take. Come out clean and say you are stopping funding subversive elements in my country, come out clean and say we are de-weaponising Europe to live in Peace with Russia. Come out clean and say, we don't need NATO in Europe, because Russia we trust, it is our partner and we know Russia is a partner in helping to defend Europe. No Clinton, you come at the moment with fine words, whilst others in your administration dispatch evil deeds. Then you ask for trust, alas we are not stupid and have the gift of sight and memory. Come to us a friend, not someone who wants something! then we can move things forward! It will take time, but it is worth it!

She is a brilliant lady. We are yet to see what Russia can do . We need cooperation form the two big superpowers. Russia also needs a sound free speech, democrancy like what America enjoys and when russia reaches that level then you will see a very strong Russia and prosperous. Every one would wish to come to Russia and invest. We need brilliance in the way we deal with the Americans. The Americans can come and talk to us ,Have we tried to do the same . Has the foreign Russian Minister ever had a session with the Havard students . Fellow Russians it is time to leave the old mentality of Soviet time . The world is moving forward not backwards.

Well let's see - we sent our president to talk to US students, if you don't know this, then there is little hope for you. Yes the world is moving forward thanks to the likes of Russia and China, moving the world back to principles and law. So yes leave that old Soviet mentality behind of looking to outsiders all the time, for your solution. Terminal 2 never turned out to be the solution to our problem, it turned out to be our source. Russia will be prosperous through our own making, dealing with nations in an equitable fashion, encompassing free trade. The US until it adopts principles of freedom for all people, instead of US enslavement, will just be a cancerous growth on planet earth. Enslaveing not only the rest of the world, but its people as well. But we are good surgeons!

jon. This is because Hillary Clinton is very smart lady and, I think, she is underestimated and under-appreciated in her own country. I think, today, she is the best woman-politician in the world. As to who learned from whom: Hillary from Bill or Bill from Hillary. I personally think, that the latter is closer to reality.

It is time for deeds. Yet, US still needs a comprehensive foreign policy shift. That has not happened, and I do not see yet any signs of it. Yes, there will be changes, but those are the one's of expedience. With the shortage of funds, the first hit are the citizens. The "mortgage crisis", and the resulting drop in real estate assets, shortage of credit to businesses, student loans, car loans and such --- are the typical paths taken by all empires in trouble. The money, that is the borrowing power of the state, must be kept for the maintenance of the empire, and its numerous projects. Over time, some imperial projects will be reduced, after much fight in Congress. Then, projects will have to fly off books without much debate, as the money will just not be there. The foreign policy of superiority will remain on books well past the ability to carry it out. It is not in the nature of US political process to look ahead. When it clearly has the advantage, this advantage is pressed to the maximum, irrespective of the debris and enemies that it leaves in its wake. When in difficulty, it waits for the problem to respond. It will bob and weave through problems, hobbling along. It will take a very long time for a new global policy to emerge, under a very different circumstances.

These nice words from Hillary clearly show US wants to be a friend with Russia and, moreover, to make Russia its close ally, but it is almost completely due to the fact that US has lost all of its credibility in eyes of the rest of the world for its criminal misdeeds in Serbia and its province Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo, and even to its own citizens on 9/11. On top of that US is deadly broke as all main investors have flown away to Asia or Eu, as they have also lost faith in US. Now US came onto an idea that with Russia they will be stronger against China, Islamic world, South America and the remaining world? They come to Russia and flatly say: "Do you want to be my friend, for now I do not have any? For the sake of good old days when we were so close (though, as enemies, but nonetheless intimate, in a way), lets be the best friends from now on". So childish, so pathetic. Well, is it that Hillari expects Russia will joyfully start to play the role of its puppy ally UK? Do they expect Medvedev and Putin could reduce themselves to the level of one Tony Blair whose appearance is nothing but an empty shadow now? As for me, that lady doesn't mean what she says. She shouldn't be believed, not a single sentence. As for me, I would reply her:"Lady, do take that Reset Bottom of yours and put it right in the mouth of Mo Lewinsky for that would make at least some good to you".

Some commentators should ask the serbs what they think of the Clinton's words. They could also watch tapes of Hillary's campaign for the presidency. That person is obsessed by power. The most important ingredient in all human relations is sincerity (This exclude: the Clintons, Bush,Obama, Sarkonaparte and so many other politicians) . Mrs Clinton cannot be trusted; like her husband, she is a political, cynical monster with rather strange morale values. Sans intérêts. Sincerely...Jean-Claude Meslin
