Time and time again in history, when the evil doers are confronted with their own evil deeds, they become diversionary and more extreme. Both tactics are natural defence mechanisms, that work to some extent, in a small one on one emotional confrontation, but become rediculous and counterproductive when aired in any court of public opinion. The diverisonary part, tries to deflect blame, it is the finding of something else to focus on, it is the look, he did it too, or my crimes weren't as bad as his. It's the politics of the prison. Then comes the tendency to the extereme, this defence tries to jsutify, in increasing levels of perversion, the acts of the perpetrators, seeking to put blame on the victoms, seeking to justify the perpetraitors acts. It is the classic the end justifies the means. So we just need recognise what this is, an emotional extereme diversionay ploy, as a tactic to divert attention from Cheney's evil terror campaigns, illegal invasions, assasinations, torture, rape and political oppression. These are the things that represent Cheney, and the whole Cheney clan behind him. These are the things that have tarnished the US. But now he is feeling the heat, he feels a little exposed, Obama is on the block, the exposure is leading to this over dramatised diversionary and extreme defence. We always must be on the lookout for diversion and extreme justification, it is a dead give away, that something big is under the rock.

And here comes the fun part: "...we should frighten our enemies to such a degree that they will be forced to acquire weapons of mass destruction before they too have democracy rammed down their throats courtesy of an aircraft carrier. After all, only the United States should own weapons of mass destruction." Why is it that I have always thought the US ARE a weapon of mass destruction by virtue of their mere existence? ;-)

Art is art when it inspires the body-mind-soul, thus this is anything but inspirational: Dick Cheney, and family. Fun is fun when it is fun for everyone. Assassinations for hire, is fun alright, for the murderers and not for those who have been killed or rendered completely powerless AND, certainly the assassinated have families who do not find the bloody murders of loved ones to be fun.

USA simply plays a good cop - bad cop game... Bush/Cheneys are the bad cop, Obama is the good cop. I wouldn't listen to USA's theatrics. I guess the same for Russian diplomats...

Liz, what does your father think of Obama? Probably the same as my husband and I do but I haven't heard him speak his mind on this subject. Can Mr Cheney or Mr Bush help in any way to speak about the people that surrounds Obama? So many of us are very concerned about what Obama plans for this country. And the people that Obama surrounds himself with now and has for the past 20+ years is very frightening. Count Cash.....Mr. Cheney could never do anything near what Obama is planning. If you are in agreement with Obama....again, Heaven Help Us All.

Lois - this is an old thread, but try to get it out of your right wing head, that if people aren't for torture, rape and illegal invasions that they are somehow against you. If US people feel like this, then really no one can help any of us.
