Do Americans have a clear picture of what's happening in the world?

Katrina Vanden Heuvel, editor and publisher of The Nation magazine, the oldest running magazine in the US has shared her views on the American mass media with RT.
That picture of the sheep watching teevee made me laugh. It reminded me of a skit from a radio show about 20 years ago, where a human viewer called an android talk-show host and asked, "Do androids dream of electronic sheep?" She replied, "Yes! We dream of YOU."
My news sources are the internet, international and public television and ( my old friend) shortwave radio. I lost all trust and respect for America's BIG 4 networks a long time ago. Sometimes CNN and Fox News Channel may have something interesting. Oh, my favourite international news source is RT, or Russia Today!

The Truth is not to be fond in either the US or British newspapers, much less television. Intelligent people no longer watch television in the US or Britain. Pravda used to be known all over the World as horrifying propaganda, no better than the propanganda machine run by Goebels in Germany during the War. Now many people go to Pravda - and RussiaToday - rather than to any Western newspaper. Strange how things change, and how they become their very opposites. It is quite simple though - the West is now under the heel of the very same people (if one can call them people at all) who ruled Russia with an iron fist for a long time - and they plotted and planned the Bolshevick Revolution from their homes in the Lower East Side of New York - Trotsky and his friends, and they were all,l without exception, Jewish. Look at just who rules America today. Check it out and you will see that the USA is the puppet of "israel". The very grand old man, Paul Craig Roberts spelled it out on an interview on RussiaToday just this past week. This so called administration of this Obama person is almost entirely Jewish. All the countries of the World have to take back their money system from the usurers - and in the name of everything good and truthful, why not? it is simple to create, distribute and make use of one's own money - which is just something one uses for exchange. THAT is what has to change. While these banks, these so called "central banks" are privately owned for profit we, the People of the World will never regain our independence and we will conintue to be at the mercy of these leeches. Nice interview; Katrina represents in her words the thinking American. I don't agree with everything she says, and I think she hasn't moved on to the next level of detail to conceptualise the deep faults in institutional USA, but there is movement in the words, towards a reality of where the US true identity is today, for it has sliipped to an unrecogniseable regime compared to the founding fathers. Yes all nations are split into 3 or 4 parts, Many enlightened Americans are well aware of the poor deal they are getting, because they are in touch with reality. On the other end of the scale however, are the 10 minute newsers, who graze on a fast news diet, carefully prepared by institutional USA. These are the ones who are a danger to USA itself and to real democracy. Indeed they prevent true democracy within the US from being re-established and made functioning; because the trustee, has already cast their vote. The enlightened ones, search outside the US, for a balanced picture, the 10 minute newsers, stay at home in the safe institution, whilst their trustee, cleans out their bank account, using their vote.
