(2.3Mb) embed videoArnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California, has made an out of the ordinary video address thanking his people for fundraising ideas.
The US state has accumulated a $26 billion budget deficit with massive cuts in city spending, schools, and social programs, leaving many up in arms. Los Angeles County is even threatening to sue.
“Hey guys, I just want you thank you for the great ideas you’re giving me,” Schwarzenegger said in his address.
“You talked about making some cuts in the budget, getting rid of some of the state cars. Then, all of a sudden, you come up with the great idea: ‘Why don’t you sign the cars since you’re the celebrity governor and sell them for even more money?’ And that’s exactly what we’re going to do!”
