I"m not surprised, of course in the states a story like this is barely mentioned or hidden away on a back page. The Federal Reserve is not a government institution, it is privately owned. It has planned and carried out this fraud of a bailout to further weaken the middle class and push the agenda of new world order. We should all be informed and not stand for this blatant manipulation. I would like to say as an American I admire PM Putin and do not view him as the villain, who knows maybe Russia and China will be the last stand for freedom and individual thought in the world.

I don't care about the speculation as to whether the Federal Reserve knows where the money went or not. Let them open the books. The taxpayers of America are sick and tired of both the undemocratic government and insular Federal Reserve. They should both be accountable to people or should pack and leave!

Why am I NOT surprised. The Federal Reserve is headed by Ben Bernanke, who said during his appointment hearings before Congress that he would maintain liquidity by, if necessary, throwing money out of a helicopter onto . . . ??? I forget where, but probably Wall Street. Certainly not Main Street, USA. And certainly not in a manner that can be audited. And then critics say Russia has a problem with corruption? Hah. You guys have a ways to go to catch up with us. We do things in a BIG way, here.

I wonder going back within the last several years, how many trillions have disappeared...such as payouts during the Iraqi war to buy favoritism, CEOs bonuses, (a certain FEMA side company CEOs pockets hundred thousands of $´s instead of going to New Orleans to rebuild), and things like this.

Its impossible to "open the books" all the law makers know and congress knows now u do. They do NOT have to report any thing, the entire amount can go "missing" and they can ask for MORE

Free America from the private federal reserve. Why should Americans be on the hook for this private banking cartel. Our own government doesn't even know how many trillions of dollars have been swindeled/stolen/diverted by this cartel. America needs to get back to the constitution and give it's citizens a break. Investigate the news monopoly that enables corruption to continue without being brought to light. America needs real news and honesty in reporting not huge doses of misinformation and self serving propaganda.

let us not forget that on Sept 10, 2001, Donald Rumsfeld announced that the Pentagon couldn't account for 2 Trillion Dollars! That news story got swept under the rug the next day... coincidence? I think not!

If I recall; since I correspond with RT, I often mention the tremendous Worldwide armaments expenditures. Taking into account inflation, we can estimate than from 1949 until 2009, Humanity, under US blackmail and wittingly conceived climat of fear and insecurity, has wasted around 60 trillions $ for its self-destruction. This waste was and still is hard earned money from income taxes paid by all humans. Americans, being the initiators and first makers of all Weapons of Mass Destruction actually in service, pay the greatest share of that expenditure (between 60 to 70%). It made tremendous fortunes and created an elite who does not want this to stop; simple example the useless anti-missiles defense. The ash cloud from Island shows you what will happen, in a thousand times more dangerous ways, if the equivalent of a US trident missile with an instantaneous reaction's chain device was intercepted. In reality, it is not 1,5 trillions $ unaccounted for but 40 times more that sum. That is why I insist for radical changes to be made and sadly laugh about statements concerning Obama. Sincerely...Jean-Claude Meslin

The USA went bankrupt in the early 1920's. It was bailed out by the fed. res. bank. Since then either this money was paid back or the USA has been at the fed's beck and call since. The is then going broke too today as USA's debt is the feds debt too.The fed. will fall to the bank for international settlements (BIS). The BIS is controlled by the Catholic and German elites in Europe. The rest is left up to your imagination.
