Typical Russian propaganda blaming the victim of Russian agression. Essencially Russia says: "I raped her because she provoked me," or "I raped her because she was supplied with a pepper-spray by irresponsible organizations". I doubt very much that Georgia has or will have those weapons. However, generally speaking, Patriots and Stingers are defensive weapons, not offensive. If Putin does not try to "finish the business" and expand the occupation, Georgia will not need to use its Patriots and Stingers, even if Georgia has them.

You are missing the important fact that arms suppliers naturally pay kickbacks to the politicians who use public funds to buy arms. Pure corruption it is. Adnan Kashoggi is a fine example of a person who became multimillionaire from arms deals with USA and Saudi Arabia. You do not get kickbacks from giving old people better pensions, or build new schools for the next generation. The solution is to vote for someone else next time there is a referendum

About a month ago, (Israel) played a bargaining chip with Russia, "don't go through with deal of the S-300 with Iran, and we will stop selling arms to Georgia." The Russians will be fools to believed such a move by Israel. (Israel) might not provide a dictator with sophisticated weapons, but that hasn't stop the USA in doing so. The Russians need to move quick in playing their cards better. It is evident that (Israel)'s foreign policies are a mirror to those of Washington--double standard. And while Russia might want to do good on their word in deals to appease the US and (Israel), the truth is that these two countries have a very systemic and patient way to creep up on countries and mingled with their internal affairs, while shaking your hand. Be careful Russia, don't be fooled by these two countries...they want nothing more but to set a strong foothold on the Caspian Sea for the Oil...and my country right now is desperate--which is why we're in Colombia.

@ZviadKavteli "Typical Russian propaganda blaming the victim of Russian agression. Sounds like the Georgian mass murder Beria famous for raping Russian school children or his leader the Georgian Stalin. Your own corrupt EU report said the puppet leader who the CIA and George Soros installed in Georgia Suckassvilli who was a lawyer for a Soros law firm in New York and a CIA USAID subcontractor Liberty Institute NGO managing director started the war by wiping the South Ossetian capital of the map. The whole Georgian government is an entire proxy puppet government filed with Israelis like your defence minister the British and the Americans. In fact Georgia with the CIA/Mossad and MI6 run the largest Islamic international terrorist training camp in the Panski Gorge in Georgia.

Saakashvili already admitted that Georgia attacked first. He also admitted lying during the 2008 war about how Russia invaded first. In addition, Georgian forces killed Russian peacekeepers in a sneak attack before they killed any South Ossetians. It was as if they were demanding that Russia invade! Well, OK then. And now Saakashvili has his shills crying about how poor Georgia was "raped" by mean ol' Russia? That kind of talk is silly and dangerous. It makes it so much harder for the world community to believe the accusation if or when there is a REAL invasion and takeover. Maybe Saakashvili should remember the tale of the "Boy Who Cried Wolf".
