China is a threat to cyber security and Internet freedom, both of which America should promote. That's according to the US Congress, which praised Google's decision to fight against Chinese web censorship.

Well, Google censors us in America -- I was so bored I wanted to find movies from other countries so I Googled looking for streaming sites from China -- I got FOURTEEN pages of nothing but anti-China movies! I was astonished, because I knew there were movies since I had seen them on China Books website! All I wanted to do was watch a freaking movie that was different! Now to be fair, if you KNOW already, you can find stuff, but if you don't know, which most people don't, you get FOURTEEN and counting pages of bad stuff. I'm just sick of it. This was one thing when there was no global economy, now its so ideological and racist!

all this google china stuff makes me laugh. Right, so all of a sudden, Google has a "moral conscience". its no problem for them to operate in China for years, then one day, out of the blue, the "censorship" bothers them, so they make a "moral stand". Laughable. It seems one thing Google have gotten is publicity from this. When will people learn, big corporations don't have moral consciences, all that drives them is $$$$$$. Also, Google operating in China does not mean they have the right to operate in contravention to chinese law. They must obey the laws of every country in which they choose to operate. In fact, Google leaving China would just leave a gap in the Chinese market, which a Chinese business would be only too glad to fill, and the rate China is growing, this Chinese "google" could grow and grow, and eclipse Google one day!
