Just to let the readers of this article know, this protest was done by an extremely fringe group of ultra orthodox fanatics, and do not represent the majority of either orthodox Jews, or the Jewish people in general. 99.9% of the world's Jews are repulsed and embarrassed by these traitors, and are not considered Jewish by many within the community at large.

Its really unfortunate that Mr. Brass would label as "traitors" Jews who dare criticize Israel. It suggests a totalitarian mindframe which is all too pervasive among supporters of Israel and tends corroborate the protesters claims that anti-Zionist Jews are being persecuted in Israel. Oh excuse, per Mr. Brass instead of "anti-Zionist Jews" I should have said "traitors".

R Brass is good at identifying his own spirit .. perhaps we should take the time to remind ourselves that only in recognizing our similarities does the veil of separation lift .
