Obama’s unwillingness to unseal his official birth certificate implies some kind of fraud on his part, says Orly Taitz, an activist who has been questioning the legitimacy of President Barack Obama’s presidency.

My compliments to RT for their interview of Orly Taitz. Ironic that RT affords a more open and honest exchange of controversial views than the self-praising/self-righteous American media. I have never heard of Orly Taitz prior to this RT interview, but I do share some of her concerns that the oligarcial control of American media is to the detriment of the nation. The once magnificent and independent minded American people have been transformed into a herd of cattle by their media. At no time in human history has a people been subjected to as much propaganda and brainwashing as the American people today. Unfortunately, the American people, even today, can't admit to themselves that their government and media lies to them. Unbelievable the blind faith the American people had in Bush as he outright lied to them about Iraqi WMD, Saddam's complicity in 9-11, Taliban complicity with 9-11, etc, etc. Of course, the Soviet Union relied on propaganda to keep their masses in line; but, the Soviet people knew that their government and media were not truthful with them and they learned to read between the lines - something that the American people can not do very well because of their blind faith in the "goodness of America". RT's interview with Orly Taitz should set some bells ringing in America.

Sure, birth certificates can be faked, but this is becoming as ridiculous as the pregnant/hanging chad controversy. Is it pregnant? Is it hanging? Should it be disqualified if it's pregnant, but not if it's hanging? If it's down to that, people are grasping at straws. I also find it amazing how many people who hailed Obama as the next savior of the free world, when faced with the reality that he's just another politician, have been oh-so-quick to turn on him and jump on board bandwagons like these. For my part, I didn't like him then, and don't now, which at least is being consistent. But I also feel sorry that his supporters have been so fickle and ready to rip him apart in this way, the moment they were disappointed by him. I would agree if they tore him apart over the actual things he's done, or failed to do, but this? To vent your anger at your disillusionment in this way? When you were the ones who created your own illusions? That's pretty toxic. I'll go further and point out that, while I've heard a lot of talk from the 'birther movement' about a fake certificate, and agree it can be very easy to fake one, I've not actually seen or heard any solid reason to base this suspicion on. What grounds do they have to make the claim that his birth-certificate is NOT legitimate? Is there evidence that his mother was not in the US at the time of his birth? Records in another country that indicate he may have been born there? What other country do they think he was born in? In the end, if he is hiding his birth certificate, it may have nothing to do with any of that. Many years ago, 'illegitimate' was stamped on a certificate if the parents were not married. I even know someone who put her mother's name on her son's birth certificate, instead of her own, to hide it from her family. Until these people provide solid reasons for suspicion, they're just a vindictive sore losers who can't handle their own disappointment as far as I am concerned.

I'll pass on the opportunity to debate Kihnu on the allegations above. There are serious issues in the questions raised about Obama's parentage, place of birth, and eligibility to be President. It is true that the mainstream media in the U.S. have ignored these matters and dismissed them without consideration. The print and television media in the U.S. are overwhelmingly liberal and Democratic and have betrayed their professional responsibilities vis-a-vis Obama and the left, whereas they never missed an opportunity to attack G.W. Bush. Obama has reportedly spent millions in suppressing information about himself including birth certificate, educational transcripts, etc., while creating a web of misleading information in his "autobiographies." I suspect that part of Obama's monomania in pursuing his left wing agenda is because he knows he will be a one term President. It will take only one state to enact a law requiring incontrovertible proof of birth to run in the next presidential election and he will be unable to run. Even if he was born in Hawaii, he may well have lied about his parentage and that would fatally sap his credibility across the board.

To Kihnu: That you have not heard of Orly Taitz is not the fault of the "American Media", merely a lack of attention on your part. Below are a quick list of references from mainstream media in the United States regarding Orly Taitz: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0910/13/joy.01.html http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/13/orly-taitz-slapped-with-2_n_318546.html http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1915285,00.html http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-5452727-503544.html http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/10/05/AR2009100503819.html Your lack of objectivism and narrow view of the world should be ringing bells in your head. Orly Taitz is old news, and your biased opinion is just as uninteresting.

While it is all tantalizing, it is also highly irrelevant. The question I have is the difference between Obama the candidate, and Obama the president. It almost looks like we have two different individuals. From education, to wars --- whatever happened. The President is caving in on all fronts, even glamorizing the vultures that want to suck up whatever is left of public money, going after each school in order to discredit and smear. Even hiring hired guns for superintendants, by idiotic and ignorant school boards. Those are hired to dismantle good education, brick by brick, smear and undermine teachers with best track records proven by test scores -- all in the name of "reforms" and "modernization". These clowns spend money on lavish landscaping for schools, expensive new mahagony doors and desks for their palatial offices, and send disorganization and chaos rampant throughout the schools. They invevitably find small bureaucratic minds to support them, as these idiots do not know good education from bad if it hit them in the face. This is what Obama is now praising, robbing good communitiies of their good public schools, so that their buddies will get their charter schools going, where good chunk of public money will go into PROFIT, while a paultry amount will be spent on teachers, and to kids --- good luck. Nobody will supervise those schools, and as it turns out, many of them in Washington DC have LOWER them 50% pass rate. Good public schools are taken over by federal government at 98% pass rate!!!! Forget about taking over bad schools. Nobody really wants those. There are no rich parents in those neighborhoods. For those, "charter" schools will be places of incarceration until the age of 17. But they are after GOOD school districts, destroying them through DELIBERATELY hired destruction agents, so that the confused staff and teachers will not have any say or formulate any reaction to such outrage.

I have friends in Kenya. When Obama was first elected President there was rejoicing at his birthplace as they thought it would become a tourist destination. Then there was silence with not another word spoken about it. When Obama was elected Senator he was referred to as being Kenyan born.

The American people have an almost impossible task in discerning the truth of any controversial issue because they are bombarded by both the dishonest elite controlled media and the conspiracy-focused folks who flood the internet with their own spin.

During all this whining and crying about Obama we must not lose sight of the fact that the majority of the American electorate voted for him and not for that old self-anointed "war hero", grandpa McCain.

The Kenyans know Obama was born in kenya. Just the Americans can be fooled into believing that he was born in America. Americans are an easily fooled people. Just look at the way they are herded into the malls to buy the latest "hot" item - just like cattle. No wonder they had such blind faith in Bush as he lied to them about Saddam building an atom bomb. Recall that every time a reporter asked the Bush administration for photographic proof of Iraq facilities where the bomb might be manufactured, the answer was always the same: "shhhh, can't show you because we can't reveal our sources", and the naive American people bought into this charade. The America now sure have a lot of photographic proof of Iranian nuclear facilities - don't they. That's because the Iranians are making a bomb while the Iraqis were not.

Bianca: "the question I have is the difference between Obama the candidate, and Obama the president. It almost looks like we have two different individuals." Welcome to American politics where lies and deceptions are spoon fed to the American people. Obama and Rham Emanuel (who is the shadow president) saw how successfully Bush and his folk conned the American people into offering up the lives and blood of their loved ones for their invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. The Obama - Emanuel administration is just continuing what the Bush administration did best - lying and deceiving. Besides, Obama-Emanuel are old Chicago style politicians where integrity and honesty are not valued. So don't be surprised that the Obama you voted for is not the Obama you got. Where Joe Biden in this Obama - Emanuel administration? Who cares, as long as he stay out of sight.

Bianca: "Nobody will supervise those schools, and as it turns out, many of them in Washington DC have LOWER them 50% pass rate. Good public schools are taken over by federal government at 98% pass rate!!!!" You are running a risk of being called an "anti-American". Seems to me that many indicators show that America is in decline. American large cities become uninhabitable when the sun sets because of the rampant criminality; more American school children drop out of school than ever before; and, if they do graduate, many can't meet the minimum proficiency standards. And, if an American is frustrated with their supervisor or their coworkers, its not unusual for the disgruntled employee to start killing. Each day the American newspapers run stories about parents killing their children or their children killing their parents. This "kill kill" mentality permeated the entire American society. The White House set a poor example to the people when Bush, who didn't like Saddam Hussein, invaded Iraq to "git" him, and in the process killed over a million Iraqis and destroyed the once stable country. To top off his bravado, Bush had his troops kill Saddam's two sons and grandson, and lay their bodies out in the sun for all to see - in the best cowboy tradition. America is in a serious social decline that, unless it is reversed, will leave the nation eventually impoverished. Too many Europeans are climbing on the American/NATO bandwagon without giving consideration to the future.

(possibly) fake documents, hearty but unfulfilled pre-election promises, expanding war, radical and unwanted social changes, rising taxes, bad but sturdy foreign policy, media manipulation... yep, sounds like a president of the USA to me! Just don't understand what's all the fuss is about. It's busyness "as usual" in the white house, nothing, nothing new at all.

In my opinion this is what the small portions of the republican party of "birthers, baggers and blowhards" have brought you. They are good at "Follow the Leader" of their dullard leaders, they listen to Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O'Reilly, Rush and Savage and the rest of the Blowhards. Are you surprise at what they do when you know what they think? The world is complicated and most republicans (Hamiliton, Lincoln, Roosevelt) believe that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now its about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. Although most republicans are trying to distant themselves from this fringe they have a long way to go.

Dr. Taitz along with many other attorneys have attempted to make Obama prove that he is eligible to hold office. To this date the courts, Congress and executive branch had conspired to prevent anyone from challenging Obama. Forget the birth certificate issue which is a foil, Obama himself admits that his father was NEVER a US citizen which makes it impossible for Obama to be a "natural born citizen." The Democrats and Republicans allowed Obama to take office knowing he was never qualified. I think the Republicans were looking for the weakest candidate and Obama fills that goal. Republicans are waiting for 2012 while Obama self destructs. Like many I do not believe Obama will ever complete his 4 year term.

Like our Sarkonaparte 1er, Obama is a pre-fabricated politician. He is the product of the marketing and communication industries. He was used as a smoke' screen to cover up the American huge financial fiasco. It was the greatest show on Earth and it fooled everybody (most of all: Russian leaders). That shame worked so well than nobody in the US elites will dare change anything or question the legality of N-PiPO as their president. As soon as he was elected, he was sent on a Worldwide tour who proved right all those who had set-up such a scenario. Do you realize all the damages made if that con-artist was not officially a US citizen. If he does not perform as requested, he will be killed and the whole affair will be quickly forgotten. To have an idea of how cynical Western politics can be, try to figure out how many disturbing peoples, like communists' sympathizant have been murdered since 1945 whole through the World !
