“Iranians believe missile shield is against Russia”

Iranians do not really believe the US feels threatened by the Islamic Republic, Seyed Mohammad Marandi from the University of Tehran told RT.
“From the very start, when the US wanted to set up the defense shield in Eastern Europe, Iranians believed that it was basically against Russia and not Iran,” he said.
“Iran has never been a threat to the EU and Iranians think the claim is laughable,” Marandi continued.
The fact that the Americans are now throwing their previous anti-missile defense program into the bin, is seen by Iranians as basically because “of the extremely difficult financial situation the US government is facing and because of the cost that they have due to the wars and the economic difficulties”.
As for the enrichment of uranium in Iran, that’s been raising concerns in the international community but has nothing to do with nuclear weapons, Seyed Mohammad Marandi said.
“It is a very different type of enrichment,” he said.

When will you all realize that the whole shame has nothing to do with the USA, Russia, Iran, North-Korea, Israel. It is only a matter of money; huge sums of dollars, euros even roubles (billions of it). American and many european economies are military economies (even suiss businessmen cry if they don't have their small part of armaments' subcontractors' benefits. They don't know and don't want to know what the word: reconvertion mean. After the cold-war, we had and still have the war against terror, then since the Reagan's era: the star-war of which the AMD is the continuity; then we may follow thru with some kind of defense against an aliens' invasion. Do you see how sick is mankind's governance ! Nobody challenge that insanity because America and the few thousands greedy creeps who run the show want it that way. Message to Iran: Go to Russia or China and buy a lots of anti-air missle defence systems, because it look's like the money and oil monsters wants new Iraq and new oil deposits. It looks like that slowly resource war has already started. It is very important for the world that Iran menages to defend itself from those monster intruders from the west.
