Webster Tarpley, journalist, radio host and critic of the Obama administration, reveals to RT who he thinks really rules the United States.
“If we look at recent US presidents we would have to conclude that Barack Obama is the most controlled by Wall Street banking interests that we have seen in recent memory, maybe in the last hundred years” states Tarpley.
He also pointed out that “About $13 trillion of Federal Reserve and US Treasury money have gone to Wall Street to save it from bankruptcy.”
“My finding in terms of Obama’s biography is that he was probably recruited by people like Zbignew Bzesinsky or Samuel P. Huntington at the Columbia University in 1981-1982, so Obama was groomed over a long period of time” shares the journalist.
“Obama is simply the unity candidate of the entire financier lead of the top US money center banks” he says.
Webster Tarpley names derivatives as the major source of the global economic crisis “If you have $1.5 quadrillion of derivatives what can you do about that? The answer is – virtually nothing! It is a black hole."

On June 24th, "European" wrote something very kind about my numerous comments to RTTV which I just noticed today...This has nothing to do with any kind of self-promotion. Yes, I am a french citizen, born in Pont-Audemer: Normandy, in May 1939. In 2009 I am not vey proud to be french; I rather consider myself an european of normand decent. My destiny was strange: I worked for the french nuclear program from 1961 to 1963. On the 30th of April 1962, I flew back to Paris and the next morning an underground experiment failed (All 600 peoples on the site on that day are now all died). In 1964, I started a 21 years stay in North-America, working for its aerospace-industry. Nevertheless, since April 1967 (Montreal-Expo) I always had some russian friends. During that period, I got acquainted with very interesting humans like Carl Sagan (astronomer), Jacques Yves Cousteau (oceanograph), members of the association of concerned scientists and Greenpeace (which I saw the birth in 1971 in Vancouver). Consequently, being implicated with young peoples (teaching: football, tennis, chess and now in France: english), I make into practice what Carl Sagan said: before being a decisions' makers, one must know what he will hand over to future generations. Having by myself, no power of any kind, I try with Internet and decent medias like RTTV's help, to remind that simple evidence. I must also add that thanks again to sport (tennis) since March 1997, I had the privilege to make 12 stays in Orenburg: Russia. I can consider myself a witness of that country's recent évolution and say than I like what I have seen. Often my comments are opposite to what the traditional biased occidental mdias experts proclam. Nevertheless, I sleep well and my conscience is clean. Sincerely... Sincerely. Same pretty much goes for the Republicans (good thing his firm hand-shake saw priority) and Tea Party (we aren't living in an age where stricter adherence to neoliberalism is a new thing with uncertain consequences), please please keep that in mind while you're ranting about your local Tea Party candidate being a beacon of god's light or whatever it is you people do. They're all backed by wall street and big business, and they all represent those interests while in office both at home and abroad. I still find it shocking that this is a surprise to pretty much anybody.
