Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada said his country is not ruling out the possibility of allowing nuclear-armed US warships to enter its waters under “exceptional circumstances”.

This is absurd. They are obviously being pressured by the US. Japan once used as a show of nuclear power to intimidate the Soviet Union, they are doing it again against the Russian Federation.
