Violence is increasing while more US officials are urging Barack Obama to come up with an exit strategy. The important questions are what is happening on the ground and how the US troops feel about the situation.

Hamid Karzai was inaugurated for his second five-year term. But does he have the power to make major military decisions right now?

“What’s on the ground right now is the resurgence of the Taliban due to civilian casualties, and there’s an immense amount of the population that suffers from severe poverty in refugee camps,” Jake Diliberto, an Afghanistan war veteran, told RT.

“The Karzai government really has to push the people who are in this Parliament to stop the corruption, stop the drug trade and to move towards a reform that the people in the villages and rural areas can respect,” he noted.

Could it be possible their is a link between Karzi, Sakashvilli (Georgian Head), Sardizi (Pakistan Head), etc. It seems they all have been given many Tens of Billions of Dollars by the United States. Has any one checked the paper trail of this money? It seems this is similar to Tony Blair or Bill Clinton being paid Many Millions of Dollars by Entities and Countries they have given their Country's money via Foreign Aid, etc. - Our American Dollar continues to be worth less and less; it is reported we have no inflation in our Country (U.S.) but one only has to go to the store and buy groceries for a price shock. Our country it seems will never be able to recover what it has lost in lives and money for the people in charge, remain in charge, through every administration. Good Luck to all in the coming New Year.
