The Klitschko brothers’ dream to secure all four heavyweight boxing titles has been put on hold. Vitaly and Wladimir hold three and claim that Russian Nikolay Valuev, who owns the WBA belt, doesn't want to fight them.

The Klitschko brothers have created a monopoly on the heavyweight division. Younger brother Wladimir currently holds the IBF and WBO belts, while Vitaly, who's only recently returned to the sport, has the WBC crown.

Only the WBA champ Valuev stands in their way of uniting the division.

Vitaly Klitschko suggests it’s the Russian boxer’s promoters which don’t want this fight.

“The unification fight between the two champions will be good for everybody – Eastern Europe, Western Europe and the U.S.,” Vitaly Klitschko said.

Vitaly is the more likely of the brother's to face Valuev, as long as the two parties can come to an agreement.

Despite the Russian's disappointing victory over 46-year-old Evander Holyfield, Vitaly still believes the Beast from the East is a decent fighter.

“I keep my fist for Valuev. I hope that my next fight will be against the Russian maybe in spring or in summer this year,”
Vitaly Klitschko said.

Vitaly’s brother, Wladimir, is due to fight against Britain’s David Haye on June 20, which would take place at Chelsea's grounds – Stamford Bridge.

The fight isn't set in stone just yet. Nevertheless, Wladimir is looking forward to going head to head with the former cruiserweight.

If the Klitschko brothers do manage to unify the heavyweight division, there is the distinct possibility they would have to fight each other. However, both fighters say this isn't going to happen.
