Sergey Lavrov's Foreign policy is a whole bunch of 'facts' and 'documentation' and pros&cons and explainations and figures and graphs.. but when the question comes to WHAT IS TO BE DONE ???? it fumbles and totters and shakes.. What the problem is that the canvas is too vast..and to cover it EFFECTIVELY you "Gotta' have some-one of the caliber of an SPQR ..Nothing less will do ..!!! from raaj joshi email; aventinesylla@yahoo.co.in

Mr Lavrov's comments on the Tajikistan civial war hit the nail on the head. It was a good example to bring to the meeting so that nobody can doubt the genuinely positive influence Iran has on her neighbours. However, I also feel that he was too soft on the US and NATO, especially on the issue of Afghanistan. I understand that he did not want to appear anti-NATO, but NATO has made it very clear that they are anti-Russia. I do not understand why Russia continues to be nice to an organisation that would invade Russia the first real chance it gets.

FM Sergey Lavrov, is one of the most valuable 'assets" the RF has to date. He would be great as president if he ran. He does not mince world with those who talk out of both sides of their mouths. We all know what that is called and who does it all the time to Russia. its the United States of American. The only other superpower in the world. Make no mistake Russia is the only "superpower" that has integrity, and follows "all" international laws, treaties, agreements, etc.PERIOD. UNLIKE the U.S., UK, France, Germany [in particular].Nato, European courts, etc.. U.S.just "unliterary" decides with no conversation, what is in their best interest, to break signed treaties, agreements, security packs, under the pretext the United States is "EXCEPTIONAL" and thus what they say and do at their convince is ok regardless of the horrific outcome to say, Russian "national security" and regional balance of power in RF "region" which US claims is their interest [oil, gas, pipeline, uranium, etc.] THAT MUST STOP AND STOP NOW. Iran is NOT a threat to any country. Israel does not get to make a decision with or without US assist [as usual US military are the ones who die and are disfigured for life] to 'preemptively' attack Iran at will, with US Air Force new vs. of the cluster bomb that is 'nuclear.'Israel made a 100 plan attack plan and trip to Iran and has stated as has the US they will use force if Iran does not comply with UNSC decision to stop enrichment.

The solution to russ's problem lie in those 5 bags which they have to explore and exploit..!! Oh this problem is by no means of russ alone almost all 'enterprises' or 'corporations' or 'departments' or 'establishments' or 'governments' face this problem....!!! And..??? ..how..do..you.know SO much?? That ,is, because , my freind , I am SPQR from raaaj joshi email ; aventinesylla@yahoo.co.in

I find it a bit digusting that the American's would prey upon Russian Foreign Minister -- makeing vague and nebulus likages with Iran nuke acts and C repub and P repub. This is what causes problems in foreign policy -- bizzar linkages. I feal bad as common Ameican citizen, that such a nobel man as the Russian FM has to speak down (condecend) to haphazard and abritary linkages between US false presence in C and P -- next the odd extrapolation to Iran. I think US State Department needs a mental help. If I was the Russian FM I would tell them to go to Heck. Yet this is what they hire intellecutals for -- not to be reactonary. Peace.
