Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has outlined Moscow’s priorities and principles in foreign relations, including with the US, NATO and Europe.
Count Cash, You disappoint me. Do you(and ALL Russians) go to bed at night worrying about an attack from the USA or NATO? I have to laugh when you say that your administration has "transparency", Are you kidding? You are wrong about the "multi-polar" thing too because I can tell you, the America of Old is no longer, the USA is falling apart thanks to "Multi-Cultralism", so my advice to you, stay Eastern European and Russian because you will be better off. You are correct on one thing, at least you have a 3 headed dragon for leadership while the USA has a "clown" as its leader.
Sierra Nevada, Russia already lost soldiers due to NATO and US private contractors playing games in Georgia. These were things that US would have NEVER done during the Cold War. They are talking about moving their German airbases into Poland. They are advancing missile defense. Open a map, you'll see it has no strategic advantage against Iran, as they claim. The Great Chess game and many other US political figures already claim their motives against Russia. The reason they are moving against Russia now is they are the successor state to the Soviet Union. They do not want a power to rise that challenges their hegemony. Do we go to bed worrying? No, we can defend ourselves, but it is not pleasant to have a nation still plotting against another after the said conflict has expired. Foreign policies in Washington are like a freight train. They still can't stop treating Serbia badly even after they bombed it and divided it. US domestic policies hold no light to foreign policies. What they do at home and abroad are different. The American people are suffering with job losses and illegal immigration....They also don't assimilate to their new society. These problems doesn't change the fact the US military and government are still receiving budgets that are larger than the world combined. Why else would you need to pay more than the world on military other than to dominate it. I really hope things for Americans are better and the US government receives the change the people want. I know most Americans haven't a clue to what the US government is doing on this side of the pond. Russia doesn't have complete transparency. Here it seems to go back and forth. Laws that allow FSB to arrest someone for criticizing the government will kill transparency. It is also reminiscent of Soviet laws and US's Patriot Act. Right now there is no "better place" in the world. What to blame for these problems? Globalism...Too big to Fails...They fuel the fires
Artyom, Thank You for the "nice" response. This is the first response that I received from someone on RT. I really would like to see this "proof" that American(NATO) soldiers actually killed Russians during the Russian-Georgian war. I am not talking about military advisers that were present before the war started while the Russians seized US Taxpayer funded HUMVEES during the war. The American Soldiers in Poland are a direct result from the "cozy" relationship between Merkel and Putin. That one is very simple. I live in Metro-Atlanta and every week on our newscast they show the Russian Bombers flying off our coast(60 miles) in "International" waters. Also, the Russians are right in our backyard in Venezuluea, Bolivia, Peru, and Cuba but I never here Putin or Medvedev bring this point up. I ask "Why"? You are correct about the USA's domestic agenda. O'Bama is a "rat". He is a "Marxist/Leninist" and his ONLY goal is to eradicate the "Eastern European(White race) influence in this country. He is the worst President in the history of the USA. I admire the "triumvirate" that Russia has. I am envious. I support the "Patriot Act" as this country is being overrun with Illegals aliens and the welfare state is so bad that the former Soviet Uniuon would be jealous at the "benefits" that these welfare people get. I admire Russia and my advice is DO NOT CHANGE! DO NOT give into "Multi-Culturalism"....PERIOD! Thanks again. I am curious as to your response on Russia being in the USA's backyard and NO one in the world press seems to care, but when the USA sends a warship with blankets into Batumi, Georgia, the outcry from Putin, Medvedev, and the like is so LOUD......why the double standard?

Excellent overview of our current situation and direction. Lavrov is really at the top in terms of intellect, ability and experience. We are so lucky to have the trio, not just a tandem; Medvedev, Putin, Lavrov - we are simply brimming with quality leadership. Multipolar is the way, equal partnerships is the way, to stay equal and alongside, but not in the west is the key. The world is a big place with many diferent centers of gravity developing. The world will always be dynamic. Russia knows this, so will be itself in harmony with others. The indivisibility of security; well nice to have a more treaty orientated one, but let's face it we have it in practical terms already. If NATO acts against us, their security is gone in a flash, same for the US. So like it or not, all our security is indivisible. Having a treaty and sound administration with transparency, would of course be a more stable approach. But I am not worried, if others attack our security, theirs will go as well. Yes NATO and the US realise this and still carry on with their aggression against us, but they know their only option is to continue with their sponsored terrorism, subversion and drug attack against Russia. The future for Russia is the world and equal partnership with those that want genuine relationships.
