NATO can't be trusted, because it simply has no proven bounds. Basically the only thing proven about NATO is that it is a gas, it will expand to fill any space based on a void or their political need. There is no trusting NATO because there are no limits to NATO other than global hegemony. NATO had an idea of the inviobility of borders, then promptly destroyed Serbia's. Now they have a concept of never attacking Russia. Well forgive us, if based on past historical facts we don't tust the fine words, because we have seen the evil deeds. We were absolutely correct to name NATO as our greatest threat. This is not going to change because people tell us things. Our perception of NATO will only change, when we see tangible deeds. Those deeds need to be a joint anti missile project built from the ground up with NATO and Russia as equal partners, removal of foreign missiles from Europe and a general reduction of facing weapons on both sides. Russia is too clever to be sold I am your friend today, we saw the Iranian friends of the west, we saw the Iraqi ones two. It is a cultural thing, a westerner always comes with a smile, even when he wants to cut your throat. Why does NATO need all these bases if they are not going to use them. They are using them already. And NOT for defensive purposes. Secondly, based on the fact that ANY defensive weapon is ipso facto an aggressive weapon, how do these gentlemen expect Russia to react to their proposal? Are they relying on the miraculous persuasive powers of Mrs. Albright, who, besides everything else, has no official capacity in the US government? Are these people joking, while playing with nuclear fire? I am trying to understand the unmitigated arrogance of Washington in dealing with other countries, especially Russia. No way. Unreformed militarism still stands high in the ruling circles of the United States and no salutary paradigm appears on the horizon. Could it be that the giant, stuck with its aggressive culture, is now totally confused? The world wants real change from NATO. It must get a new life or die.

US, NATO and the EU pose a serious threat to the Russian Federation; and yet, Russia sails along on her Titanic oblivious to the iceberg of people who want to destroy her. If we really weigh up the situation, it's just so simple, the whole of the world's big powers are so jealous of Russia, having a population of around 140 million people and shrinking by around a million a year, in around 40 years Russia will have the same size population of the uk of around 90/100 million people, now look at the land mass that Russia covers, is it a 1/4 of the globe?? and all that wealth it sits on; coal, gas, oil. mineral wealth, better European farming ways being used in the vast Russian farming sector, a Russia that the leaders believe belong to the Russian people not millions of immigrant invaders.........................we could go on all night, i am British through and through but i feel the Russian people have such a bright future for their children.
