Mexicans see no salvation from joblessness and drug cartels, but on the other side of the Mexican-American border, they are ready to risk their lives in the quest for a better life in the U.S.
A wave of protest against immigration reforms? Majority of the US supports the immigration reforms. The National Guard was sent to the border and Obama states they won't be used to stop illegal immigrants. It is funny another country runs the US border policies. Nobody felt bad for us in Russia during the 1990's and gave us a free pass.... Why should anyone else get one? If Mexico is dangerous, reform it. If you want to live in USA, do it legally. Globalization makes companies search for cheapest labor, that's obvious where Chomsky is coming from. It doesn't change the fact it is illegal and a total failure of laws protect sovereignty. The governments are at fault on both sides of the border. The government enjoys kick backs, pay offs, and a new liberal voter base as they give amnesty. Can anyone say treason?
