And I thought that NATO sponsored altering of borders in Europe destabilized the European security, and undermined relationships with Russia. I thought that Russia and countless others warned about the violation of international law, Helsinki Final Act, as well as UN Charter and the relevant resolution, R. 1244? Who exactly is undermining national borders in Europe. Or because it was Serbia's borders, it does not count. And as we speak, Serbia has been put under pressure AGAIN, this time to grant "an autonomy" to Vojvodina, its richest province. How cleverly this is being done, right under the noses of the international community. Only this time, Serbia will probably "voluntarily" fall on knife, as it has very little choice. Since the majority of the province are Serbs, the stories are again being concocted about the "treatment" of miniorities. Even though minorities in Vojvodina are the priviledged class, it is not stopping EU in pushing this constitutional change in Serbia. Being a poor country, adding another, "provincial" layer of bureacracy will cost Serbia dearly, but EU wants to get its paws on Voivodina without having to go through the central govenrment in Serbia. Contrary to any common sense, and contrary to any European laws, this "province" will get its own representation in Brussells! Today, I saw the list of Canadian Postal Office. It lists Vojvodina as a country. So much for undermining national borders in Europe!
