Great report, but the news is horribly old and not relevant today. However one thing RT did not say: in Russia people are not allowed to own handguns, none whatsoever. The only allowed weapons are those for hunting, lethal force in Russia is illegal so guns for self defence are almost useless, so there is not much to confiscate there because the people don`t have anything to begin with.

The people aren't "given" the right under the 2nd Amendment. They are endowed with it by their Creator. The 2nd Amendment was written to recognize and guarantee it.

The news may be horribly old but still relevant today since most of the owners did not get their weapons back.

Had bandits approached the bar owner, she would have fired upon them...but, because of her respect for a uniform, she was easily disarmed. In the future, police will be viewed as bandits by all law abiding citizens and take horrific causalities. That none of the cops from California or New York were ever prosecuted for grand theft and violating citizen rights speaks volumes... the government remains rogue.

Impeach or kick out the Carolina Governor that endorsed this gun grab during the Earl Hurricane, she is opposing your Second Ammendment right! Any politician that opposes any Constitutional Right needs to be eliminated as quickly as possible, to guarantee getting a Constitutional America back!

TEEBONE: By what convoluted logic do you conclude that gun ownership was "endowed by their Creator?" That phrase was included in the Declaration of Independence, but so far as I can discover, the "Creator" was not consulted.

Wilson, quit the boozing. Your Creator has endowed upon you a brain, and the fortitude to use in defense of your person. A gun is simply a tool. You have the right to use this tool to defend your person. Guns have only bee around for a few hundred years, but your right to defend yourself is timeless. It just so happens that now people use guns to kill or maim....therefore, those of us who wish to defend ourselves must use the same resolve. You wouldn't bring a knife to a gun fight and expect to survive. Just saying. Stated differently...NO ONE has the authority to tell you that you cannot own a firearm to protect yourself. Period. End of story.
