They voted Barack Obama in for a change to George Bush's wars, but they say all he's given them is more fighting.
Afghanistan is the line drawn in the sand, so to speak and an appropriate idea since it has been ongoing for a long time. Russia was trapped into Afghanistan to teach the Russians a lesson in real war. Russia learned its lesson. "Where Empires Come To Die." American wants to war and win Afghanistan now to prove to Russia it was weak and the US is strong. America has not learned its lesson. Russia cannot talk to THE Obama. And, THE Obamas? It is certainly known by now that the young smart attorneys are not exactly what the scholarly truth tells. Russia must communicate with the transnationals who own Obama, et al. since these same operators who own him are the ones who trapped Russia in Afghanistan. But then my comment is just a futile attempt in hyperbole, or there would be another idea about how to rein in the criminals who use DU to kill us all and the Middle East is now 100% proof of what our real war is, everyone who cannot stop the poisoning, globally: globalization anyone?
Shilka comments are sweet to read for anyone who dreams of something else. Unforunatly, those who have taken over all control levers are not stupid. They have learned what I call: the Julius-Cesar-principe: Governing idiots is a lot easier than governig well educated citizen. Beside, actually all countries governed by financial institutions (capitalist) have a lot of police and prostitute helpers to make any revolution very bloody. In that respect America has a little edge, because every US citizen can bear arms and so many peoples having been used to support nonsens wars are fed-up with the system...Consequently, there is hope ! 1) Americans will revolt, throw the few thousands greedy crooks, responsable for all their problems, out of the country. 2) Russia who so far is not yet completely gangrened by money enslavery will become the example to follow, that the West has failed to be. Let us be positive and cross our fingers...Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin
More and greater wars are in the "winds of change". This, you can believe in. The NEW WORLD ORDER is alive and well. Peace is just a piece of paper {nobel peace prize}.
First it must be asked, “Who are the U.S. and NATO to illegally occupy other countries in order to "fight terrorism?" The U.S. military has killed over a million Iraqis. Is that not terrorism? Does that mean if the Iraqis had the power to invade and occupy the US and kill 10 million people here, they would be justified? We have a financial responsibility to Iraq and Afghanistan because the US, and a few other countries, destroyed their people, culture, and natural resources. Is it the kinder face of Obama on Bush's second term foreign policy that gives some hope? The suffering in Iraq and Afghanistan brought about by war and occupation is an epic tragedy. Obviously, history didn't start on 9-11. The criminal act on that day didn't come out of nowhere? The principle reasons cited included U.S. support for the Israeli occupation, sanctions on Iraq that killed 1.5 million people (mostly children), and U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia-- not to mention, as you know, we supported the Mujahedeen to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan and used them as a proxy in the most devious ways, concealing the source of their funding, embarrassing them, and then abandoning them. Of course, there are volumes to speak of why it is wrong the United States and NATO countries to be in Afghanistan. They said if we would left Vietnam the people would never survive-- look at them today, surviving and thriving. Is that not the case? It is not out of a concern for the country collapsing into chaos, but rather it is driven by concern for the continued planning and construction of a trans-national oil pipeline snaking through Afghanistan as well other geo-strategic concerns related to economic profiteering. Obama's peace prize is one of the most ridiculous things I have seen. In this case, war is peace? Does that make any sense? Fred, Oregon, USA Obama is just another politician, a stooge of the corporate elite and the AIPAC.
The bulk of Americans are hard working and peace loving but want a strong country; they despise Obama and realize he is just another puppet of the world money-changers. America is -truly- ashamed of him!

I don't understand why people complain? I mean they voted him into office already. If they want change with capital C they simply got to look beyond corporate media and start tossing their votes on independents and parties not sucked up by the corporate America. 9 of 10 candidates supported by the media are all working for the same puppet master, it does not care if they are Republicans or Democrats those people voted in are all in the hands of the same puppet master. The same thing goes for Sweden, in Sweden all new parties got to be labelled and then pushed out by the already established by either demonizing them or simply letting parties in with pitiful and outright stupid ideas. People got to learn that change got to come from within, from the roots of non commercialised banned or ousted parties. They got to let them through if they want change, and I mean real change. You can't vote Social Democrats every fourth year or eight year and then vote Moderates and have them in office for 4 or eight years and expect change. Nothing of that will come, but as long as the majority only look to their own carport there won’t be any real change. You need an armed revolution and another 1776 or a 1520 Stockholm bloodbath to deal with these rooted issues. You need to start with the neighbour that is in love with his own carport. Tell him or her if she does not vote differently you will shove it up his her ass that’s the only thing that can bring about change.. Stop fooling yourself and dare to vote differently and you will have change. If not stop complaining and suck it up and remain slaves.
