It’s too early to give the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama as, despite his attempts, peace seems distant in many conflicts around the world says Anders Fange from the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan.

While I agree that this award may come early, I must protest quoting a rather unrelated individual on headline news. Who is this individual you are quoting? Does he have any relation to the Norwegian parliament, the selection process, or the winner? If not, I can't find a reason why his opinion matters. Honestly, he's a talking head. Giving his words headline status is misleading.

If is true that mr.Obama win Nobel price then this is a first class joke!I do believe in him as a good person but I judge him by his actions as a president -they are almost the same criminal one from the past.He should do this things before Nobel price are given:To stop ongoing wars, Arrest any living president(they are all war criminals wich kill 23-27 millions innorcent from 1945 around the globe),bring true democracy and true free press to Usa...Pay for damages done to all states wich Usa attack, withdraw from 800 plus bases around the world, order investigation on fake moon landing, fake WMD in Iraq and 9/11(inside job)and as main thing to change Usa genocide policy in future, etc, etc! He promise 'YES WE CAN' are death letters on paper. West naive-I dont think so!Nobel price for Obama IS A FIRST CLASS JOKE! Thanke you

Obama's effords for world peace have been outstanding. Not just in reducing nuclear weapons but he has also opened dialogue with Iran which Iran refused by giving statements ehich deny WW2 horrors etc. Nobel prize committee continues on it's path towards creating better world for our children.

To give the American War President Obama the Nobel Peace Prize is wrong and great way to destroy the stature and meaning which comes with the prize. I am ashamed of my country's military policy's mass murdering of so many innocent people. A peace prize should be awarded to those that do the most to end or prevent war, not the commander in chief of the biggest war maker.

I think Obama is a positive person who surely wants this world to make a better place to live in. Yet, giving him the Nobel prize now seems to be too early as he factually haven't had enough time to complete any of his intentions. The Nobel Prize at this moment can only hurt Obama and straighten his enemies back at home, in USA. With this Nobel Peace Prize charade the Nobel Committee could have hurt Obama much more than what it already did. For example, they could have given him two Nobel prizes: one for Peace, and the other one also for Peace, but to be shared with himself! The best Obama can do now is to keep his mouth shut for a while, for otherwise they could strike at him with some more Nobel Prizes.

Perhaps it means… Dear Mr. Obama, Even though we are lying and deceitful banking thieves, and we raped the USA, built Fema death camps, brought the world to a stop, blew your buildings away, almost broke the dollar, and stole all your peoples money… we glad you not going to blow our treacherous butts away… because you a man of peace. I see this Nobel peace prize as a banker’s prayer, and that’s probably a good thing ;) You need to get into this psychopathic banking psyche to understand these crazies, and the rest of our mad world. If I was Obama, I would have said, thanks very much but please add “except for bankers” to the certificate ;)

The Nobel prize committee just totally blew the credibility of the Nobel peace prize {if it ever had much}. After Obama, there will be no stature or meaning left to winning the Nobel peace prize. He should tell the Nobel panel that he does not deserve the Nobel peace prize and refuse to accept it. This is the only honorable thing to do.
