According to a source at the Russian Foreign Ministry as cited by Interfax, the negotiations concerning an arms reduction treaty between Russia and the US are over and deemed a success.

It is absolutly "nuts" for Russia to disarm without the abolition of NATO first.....

Niall do you honestly think that the Russians will disarm the only think that provides complete security to their federation? However with the 5000 plus active nukes and the 14000 in storage that Russia alone has, there is plenty to destroy without destabilizing their security guarantee.
