In those years it'll take Iran to develop long range missles, the US would've already attacked Iran. US military doctrine clearly follows preemptive strike policies for the 21st century. And also, at the prompting of Israel.

Why doesn't US attempt to disarm 200 nuclear warheads from Israel first, and then whine about Irans peaceful nuclear program? I'll tell you why, because Israel uses US as a proxy trough AIPAC, US will wage war for Israel, not for US interests, just like they did in Iraq few years ago. But be warned, Iran is not Iraq.
