Americans won't ever get national healthcare. Why? Because healthy taxpayers should never have to cover the medical expenses of people who voluntarily injure their bodies, such as smokers, fat people, and drunk people who crash their cars and wind up in the hospital. The best solution for America is promoting healthier lifestyles.

All this chatter and blather on healthcare is meaningless. If you want to know something about healthcare, ask anyone who don't go to the doctor. You can even ask me, because I don't go to da docktor either.

I don't see healthcare changes as a "must do" thing. The thing that America must do is to get back to common sense and away from unproductive and useless beaurocratic nonsense. The problems with health care now is too many levels of compliance. Keep it simple but dont set up government doctor's offices in the post offices, this would be a double failure. It is well known that many patients are being swindled by the current system and hospital administrators and many doctors are making a windfall off of peoples sickness and misery, but you could also add a lot of politicians to this list. Just because something has corruption does not mean that you toss it all out, both the good and the corrupt. Emphasis should be on agressively weeding corruption out of our medical system. There are some excellent doctors that should be well compensated. The thieves should be tracked down and brought to justice. This is the American way. Even with the current problems of the American medical system, it is still the very best in the world. Americans, please don't throw away a good thing. Please think about it. Once you give it up it may be gone for ever. Socialism is not America's answer.
