“Obama can’t afford loss in healthcare debate”

Obama’s losing the healthcare debate will be a huge blow for the Democrats, as 16 percent of the GDP is spent on the industry, says Reiham Salam of the New America Foundation.
According to Business Week, the Health Insurers and Care Givers have already won. There is a problem that has to be addressed. People may have insurance but are under insured and it still will bankrupt you for expensive surgeries. Or millions of people cannot afford insurance. So how does Obama address this or the government. The millions & millions of $´s already spent to defeat the health care reform through advertizements show, to me, the bankrupt nature of health care in American which rates 33 in the world. Yes, they do have good and excellant health care procedures but in the long run, it certainly can bankrupt a person. Another thing that ticks me off is that the CEO´s of these companies receive millions of $´s for their running a profitable company that does service to their investors and revoke polices for what they think may not be is not for the policy holder. Be interesting to see what happens.
The government does not have the constitutional authority to take over any facet of the private sector. They also do not have the constitutional authority to take it upon themselves to decide what is best for us over our objections. We elect them to do what we tell them to do, they do not have the authority to do anything else. We can decide for ourselves what we want or don't want, our elected officials personal opinions are irrelevant. We do not want to live in a socialist nanny state which is what we would become if the government takes over healthcare.
I don't see healthcare changes as a "must do" thing. The thing that America must do is to get back to common sense and away from unproductive and useless beaurocratic nonsense. The problems with health care now is too many levels of compliance. Keep it simple but dont set up government doctor's offices in the post offices, this would be a double failure. It is well known that many patients are being swindled by the current system and hospital administrators and many doctors are making a windfall off of peoples sickness and misery, but you could also add a lot of politicians to this list. Just because something has corruption does not mean that you toss it all out, both the good and the corrupt. Emphasis should be on agressively weeding corruption out of our medical system. There are some excellent doctors that should be well compensated. The thieves should be tracked down and brought to justice. This is the American way. Even with the current problems of the American medical system, it is still the very best in the world. Americans, please don't throw away a good thing. Please think about it. Once you give it up it may be gone for ever. Socialism is not America's answer.
All this chatter and blather on healthcare is meaningless. If you want to know something about healthcare, ask anyone who don't go to the doctor. You can even ask me, because I don't go to da docktor either.
Americans won't ever get national healthcare. Why? Because healthy taxpayers should never have to cover the medical expenses of people who voluntarily injure their bodies, such as smokers, fat people, and drunk people who crash their cars and wind up in the hospital. The best solution for America is promoting healthier lifestyles.

Who cares! if he had stuck just to the healthcare problem instead of getting into everyones bank business, and their and their medical records and controling of their lives, he probably could have made it. He has to learn that our Government is a Christian government whether he thinks so or not. {Just see what the public says and there is your answer.}He doesnt have the power to tell us any thing. He can tell us, but all he will ever get is a fight back, because we arent as dumb as he thought we were.Only God can direct our lives, and even though he and God have no birth certificates, thats their only likeness.? Where is the common sense.?{there isnt any>}Pelosi is just as bad, if not worse than he is, talking about abortion and early deaths to the old. This is not the talker of any believer in Jesus Christ that I know. O I forgot we arent to speak of Jesus. Ya! and then they think they can tell us what to call our God and his son. {Isnt that something} No wonder things arent going well, letting the prayer breakfast go by the way side was a huge mistake, and he will find it so as time goes on.
