RT has interviewed Kristine Huskey, a lawyer for Gitmo detainees, on what makes a beautiful woman quit her modeling career, go to law school and eventually represent the interests of so-called “terrorists”.
Some people have accused her of being unpatriotic because of her work. Kristine Huskey thinks it was understandable after 9/11, as people were inspired by fear.
But, she adds, “Nowadays when people say it, I really don’t understand it. Deep inside there is still a little bit of fear about what might happen and that is also what’s driving the Obama administration’s national security policy.”
She also thinks that detainees can only be considered terrorists only after a legal trial and said that “Obama’s promises of change have atrophied,” as Guantanamo is still in place.

America needs a Putin or Sechin type of leader, someone who is more powerful than every bank, lobby, criminal put together. Someone who will be able to make the right decisions for the people without fear of anyone or anything.

The President of the United States can summon the Guantanamo detainees to his office to take tea, mend blanket and know liberation.
