“In the era of globalization, Obama thinks not only of US, but of the whole world, which he showed in his strategy of global respect and cooperation,” believes David Wolfe, senior partner at Northstar Corporate Finance.
This is why many Americans worked their fingers to the bone to have him elected. But he cannot deliver much. The elite that controls the ins and outs is supportive of his global leadership skills, but --- they see the benefits accruing only to themselves. The ability to command global leadership will eventually go to the nation that could see the value of win-win in economy, trade, finances and above all security. Thus far, US is not heading in that direction.
Don't happy be worry, Obama is just the begining of the End ! That's all about ! Big money will take over all over the world ! They are working as long then more the a century ! We will be just "global happy slaves"There is no place to hide from the lunatics of Power ! Good luck in the new era of slaverry !
Allow me to make a first comment which I shall complete after the G-8 summit. It seems to me that Obama has made a terrific performance in Mocow. His Wall-Street-MIC (Military Industrial Complex) Globalisation's masters must be very satisfied. What good this will really bring to the average american and russian citizen is an other story ! Money-wise; it was perfect ! America did not scrapt its AMD system in Europe; did not promise to close any military installation uncercling Russia; did not say anything about the NATO expension, which is always decided in Washington; does planify any reduction of it huge military budget and World-wide's weapons'sale. Beside by offering cooperation in the war in Afghanistan it will make Russia the main target of terrorism. Is-it not strange that in over 7 years the greatet military power in the World and its allies have not yet ripped off the talibans and Al-Quaeda. They are not even able to stop the opium's production. What does Russia receive on compensation for all that kindness: peraphs in the near future a membership card in the WTO, the possibility to sell goods and bring some culture to America (it need it). It will give to the russian people the opportunity to drink more Pepsi, eat more Mc-Dos, smoke more Malbooros. Most of all, the Obama's performance will allow for the western multi-national corporations to put the two feet in the last El-Dorado (the huge russian natural ressources)...If Misters Medvedev and Putin had a secret bargaining cheap on their sleeve; they should explain... Best Regards. Jean-Claude Meslin
It is indeed gratifying---and rare--- to see a commentary as balanced, clear and insightful as that of David Wolfe. Thank you!
Obama is a global president in the sense that he is cosmopolitan, but not in the sense he is the ruler of the world or in that he worries about the problems of all people equally. He isn't callous towards foreigners, but his primary focus is the US.

Okay, this is just rediculous! President of the World? He doesn't represent me in anyway. I wouldn't tolerate being represented without a voice. He doesn't even listen to the American people. He for sure Will NEVER EVER represent me in Russia. Send Obama back home with all these worshippers!
