In the US, Republicans have been complaining that Barack Obama is driving the country towards socialism. But as experts note, some key posts are still held by Bush-era nominees.

Millions of Americans voted for Obama, hoping that he would be the antithesis of George W. Bush. But experts say that if you look closely, he kept some of Bush’s key appointments and made a bunch of republican appointments himself. He’s in the midst of selling his controversial healthcare plan. So, the GOP opposition is really heating up, accusing Obama of radically steering the country to the left.

But on some issues there’s little difference between the Republican and the Democratic parties, believes Chris Stirewalt, political editor for the Washington Examiner.

“The question to Barack Obama now is ‘Can you keep the left with you?’, even though you’re upsetting them on issues like escalating war in Afghanistan and expanding the aims in Pakistan”, said Stirewalt.

The news media worshiped Obama until they got him elected. Now ,as they should be, they are very ashamed about their worship of this man. Unfortunately, it is now too late to be ashamed. They have put a curse on America and it is showing up in every area of life. Pretty soon, the partners in this misadventure will see the evil that has been done to the country. Then they will try to distance themselves from the incompetence and the dirty page in history. Many will lose their comfortable seats in congress, where they literally had it made, living like kings and queens. These times should be remembered by Americans as the time when their government ran amuck and ignored the wishes of the people. The left {DEMOCRATS} are already getting weak kneed. Voters need to vote all the incumbents out of office. They have betrayed the trust of the people. Lies don't last long. The people find out the truth.
