Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko has voiced concerns over the recent deployment of Patriot missiles in Poland by the United States.
“We are not hiding our reaction; we are closely watching the process. We see neither political, nor military reasons for such deployment near the Russian border,” said Grushko.
Grushko pointed out that if the deployment becomes permanent, it will be a violation of an essential treaty between Russia and NATO, stipulating that the parties should refrain from permanent deployment of its forces in the areas adjoining the parties’ borders.
“We are going to work with NATO in deciphering this treaty and as a result have binding agreements fixed,” said Grushko.

START treaty does not mean full understanding reached- journalist“The American side is acting in sheer disregard of the very concept of the START treaty as it is understood in Russia,” said Kommersant magazine’s Sergey Strokan, referring to the deployment of US missiles in Poland. |

I have sent a comment on that subject which was not published. In that topic, you have the proof of how sincere are American politicians and what kind of prostitutes are Polish leaders. I wonder how many years will Mr Medvedev need to realize than having confidence in N-PiPO was foolish. The US president could be a decent person but he is not his own master. He was simply an "Uncle Tom" used as a smoke' screen to cover up a catastrophic situation. His election was the "greatest show on Earth wittingly conceived by the masters of imperialist America. The US decisions-makers have only one goal: control all of Earth's natural resources and impose the American way of life, everywhere on the planet. In 1970, I rode in the Seattle-Time newspaper this: Europe will be americanized or will never be. Apparently, in the US way of thinking, Russia is part of Europe and her eastern part is the last "Eldorado". Consequently, the USA will keep on the pressure until Russia bend over and become an other obedient capitalist state. Sorry Future Generations...Best Regards...Jean-Claude Meslin
