I trust that man about as far as I can throw him. US just needs to be kept at the friendly distance. Some business deals and exhange of nice words, nothing more..

Agree with you, Artyom, and I'm from US. But I find that I also agree with Kissinger that times have changed. It is time my government update its tired old thinking. There are still a lot of high-level politicians who think and act like it is 1963.

This is not the COLD WAR. It's time for Russia and the United States to talk and trade with each other. Russia is a great emerging economic power, to be respected. I am 50 plus years old and remember the old USSR. And even I can see the new Russia. Oh, I am happy to see Henry Kissinger is still offering his opinion, and that RT gives him a forum to air his opinions.

Well said Artyom!!! I would trust more to King Cobra than to Mr Kissinger. Mr Kiss usually gives a kiss to his prey just before sticking a knife into the belly. These top level US guys are frenzied enough to start a sudden nuclear blow in order to reverse the ongoing US downfall. A few nice words before that, framed into the "reset bottom approach", might well be just a preparation move to soften Russia before delivering a decisive blow. Keep Mr Kiss at a well defined distance!

Bottom line, Kissinger represents Rothschild and Rockefeller global financial interests. Nothing more.

Too many politicians in Washington D.C. voiced their hatred for Russia. Didn't Madeleine Albright state Russia has more recourses than a nation should have? I have no problem with the citizens of the USA as long as they come in peace. As for Kissinger, he was the man who said soldiers are dumb pawns played in politics. He is the one who played China and Soviet Union off on each other. That man has done more to damage Russia than he could ever repay. Yes, it is a new era. 1990's Harvard and other Democratic specialist came to Russia and pillaged and stole what they could while Russia was on its knees from the collapse of the Soviet Union. Russia was excited and looked West for the first time only to be slapped. That is true and happened. Anyone can read about the pillaging that was done. Then they say we are undemocratic when we support Putin and Medvedev. They have like always more than 75% support because we in Russia don't trust politicians that speak English and cause riots, receiving American funding. We remember 1990's all to well. Also the third parties in Russia talk about taking Alaska back! And we don't vote for them and we are insulted by being called undemocratic. The missile shields are still being pushed through with new Raytheon SM-3 missiles instead of the Czech and Poland deal. It is worse now! And don't forget the color revolutions! Those are well known Soros deals another financer of NGOs that promote the spread of Democracy. Ukraine has never been worse since the Orange revolution crippled its economy. Trade and Business deals are fine, but other than that, I don't trust American politicians and want them no where near the borders of my country. Note I speak about politicians and those elite. Honestly, I don't want Heinz with their GMO tomato paste they call ketchup, MacDonald's with their chemically fattening meat. I don't like this stuff at all. Just keep things friendly and send Kissinger home.

After all bad things that have happened, wouldn't you think people here would be a bit grouchy when they heard about anything American? Well, visit here! It is a beautiful country! It shouldn't be ruined in war. And you'll be surprised that people here aren't so spiteful, even after all the differences.

RTTV does not seems to like my previous comment which was not published. I stick to what I said: Henri Kessinger is a criminal which russians should know about, since they were his victimes. One example: in 1973 in Chili, then Viet-Nam, Laos, Congo and other South-American countries. From 1964 until 1985, I lived in North-America so I assume what I write...Remember also that say: Tell me who your friends are and I shall tell you who you are. Naturally that man did not kill anyone with his own hands but ordered the killings, which is even worse... Just talking to ***** like him is a shame. Sorry Future Generations.

Hens only invite fox to tea with eggs ready and the net set. And why shouldn't fox like hen enough to invite himself when the hens are clearly sleeping...

Henry Kissinger, US Secretary of State 1973-1977, told RT. “There is a long legacy of the various disagreements that ever occurred with Russia over a sixty year period,” Kissinger said. “I also believe we have to be careful, but we have to understand that the world is different now. Russia is no longer an ideological adversary of the United States and there are much fewer conflicting national interests and many common interests.” Never disagreements. Which World is different ? Propagandizing ideological adversaries is pantomime. Which conflicting common or national interests ? Answer.
