Public enemies to hit Moscow

A gangster drama from U.S. director Michael Mann will premiere in the Russian capital 3 days prior to its home release.
The crime fiction, starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, will be screened at the 31st Moscow International Film Festival, which kicks off on June 19.
16 films from 14 countries will be vying for the festival’s top honor, the Golden St. George, which will be awarded on June 28.
Apart from the competing films, the festival’s menu features a number of world premieres, being screened in 24 parallel programs of the festival.
Head of the jury this year is acclaimed Russian director Pavel Lungin, whose costume drama ‘Tsar’ will open the festival.
