RT: "UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said Israeli-Palestinian talks should lead to a peace agreement within 24 months..." Same wishful thinking the world has witness every under every US president. The Israeli terms for a "peace agreement" will not be accepted by the Palestinians and visa versa. Nothing will be accomplished without the UN imposing a "peace agreement" on both parties under a pain of total economic and military boycott.

Hey, what’s going on here, is the whole World turning anti-Semites? Why the World hates us Jews so much? We are just building houses to accommodate our children, just like Palestinians are building for their children. We have the right to live in this World just like any other nation, so why don’t they let us build our homes?

Nothing wrong with building homes for your children as long as the land belongs to you. I sure would not want my neighbor to expand his house into my property just because he needs the space. Israel is wasting her only chance to live in peace with the Arabs. In 30 years, the whole paradigm will change when America becomes a majority nonwhite nation.

Kihnu, Israel’s land has always been Jewish which the Palestinians have settled on and now we are taking back what it’s ours. That is the Promised Land to us Jews by King David and Moses. Why this ignorant World doesn’t understand that?

levi, as all other jewish comrads you hide behinde i am jew its our promised land speech! well. screw that ! got to share got to get your asses out of teritory that doesnt belong to you and got to make peace! and when it comes to your quastion "Hey, what’s going on here, is the whole World turning anti-Semites?" thats right! because the whole world has awaken after years of being fed that Palistinians are the problem! we now know!

EML, We don’t make peace with terrorists who occupied our lands and killed our children. First we have to get back what belongs to us then we can talk about peace if the terrorists lay down their weapons.

Using that logic, the Germans should get a "green light" to take back all the territories their ancestors once controlled. And, what about the Lakota (Sioux) Indians of America? Their God Wakontonka promised them their hunting grounds which were stolen by the Whites. Do the Sioux Indians have a moral right to drive the Whites off their properties by bulldozing their homes? And, how about the Mexicans - do they have a moral right to start destroying homes of the "gringos" to take back their lands? Where will this nonsense stop? King David and Moses carry no weight in reality of the modern world. The rights of the Palestinians should not be curtailed by the ancestral leaders of the Jewish people. The Israelis are playing with fire if they believe that they will have the goodwill of America forever. In 30 years, America will be transformed into a nonwhite nation with a significant Muslim population, and that nation will have different international priorities. This may be the last decade Israel can get a good deal with the Palestinians. Think about it.

Levi: "First we have to get back what belongs to us then we can talk about peace..." This approach is a Kiss of Death for Israel. Future historians will write that the demise of Israel was greed for Palestinian lands - mark my word.

The solution should be based on a THREE STATE situation. Israel, Palestine and Gaza. The first and easiest step should be an independent Gaza. The people of Gaza want it and the Israelis might get used to it quite soon. Some friendly troops on the border might do the trick. Once this is in place it would be much easier for a Palestinian state.

Kihnu March 24, 2010, 20:34 quote

Ras: "The solution should be based on a THREE STATE situation. Israel, Palestine and Gaza." You are a very disingenuous individual who is trying to complicate the situation. There are only two parties involved, and they are Palestinians and Israelis. There is only two national endities involved: Palestinian and Israeli. The question for Israel is very simple: pay me now or pay me later. It is more wise for Israel to negotiate a peace now, than to pay the price for failure in the future. Israel can not exist without peace with the Palestinians. The more Israelis torment the Palestinian people the less possibility for peace - and, this is to the detriment of the Israeli people. Arrogance is a terrible curse an people.
