Does anyone really believe that these two countries will get rid of any of their nuclear weapons. These are the two countries in the world who crave power. You cannot trust either one to do what they say.

Treaties are not worth the paper they are written on. It is all about GRAND STANDING BY POLITICIANS to improve their stature and enlarge their huge ego. After the big show is over, each side goes ahead and does what they want to anyway. It does help a politician who is up for reelection. Both sides kind of set up the photo opportunities and news manipulation to better their political careers. Both sides are usually more concerned with self than the people they are supposedly representing. With all the fanfaire it all becomes more a farce than an honest endeavor. Welcome to the real world.
