Yes the Dr. is enraged, but for what reason? Doctors in the US make more money than in any other nation, they want the govt. to institute mandatory health care so the money keeps comming. They are just as greedy as the corrupt HMO Insurance Companies, the Pharma Industry, everyone wants more in this for profit orgey and the poor taxpayer will get screwed. Some doctors do charity work, but they are the few honorable ones that realize the big losers in this are the people caught in the middle with no affordable coverage. The bigger picture is that making profit off of illness and death is not compatible with a sensible and workable universal health care system. The legislation proposed just continues to favor the fat cat industries and amounts to another giant bailout, something that seems to be the norm in America now. With no real solutions offered on how to pay for these continually rising costs how on earth can the taxpayers pay for this. I remember earlier when Presidents could put an emergency price freeze in place to stabilize a bad situation, I believe the gas shortage was the last time it was used. Sadly Obama seems to put the interest of the powerful before the well being of the people.
