Are snow blizzards in NY a result of global warming?

Does the snow storm that recently hit NY disprove the global warming theory or only serves to confirm it? New Yorkers shared their opinions and observations with Lori “The Resident” Harfenist.
The street interview was great. It showed the enormous confusion there is about global warming and what politic being the most appropriate. Some talked about the snow and cold weather being caused by global warming, which made me think about my childhood in the early 60's where we had some very cold and snowy winters. Back then my parents explained to me that it was due to global cooling. One day someone give me a physical sound explanation, please. Years later my father explained to me that climate is defined over a period of 40 years weather, so maybe we are just too hasty trying to determine something that statistically is very difficult to consolidate in such a short time frame. Maybe the best solution is to do what the Moscow mayer tends do do: Change the weather locally, so the city doesn't become a total snow mess.

We have got some pretty weird weather in the past 20 years, probably even longer. It seems every other year or two it gets like this. I don't think it has much to do with global warming as much as it has to do with government scientists playing around with their new weather-controlling toys. Listening to the reaction of some people shows some people are on to it and some just don't do their homework. The government scientists have been doing weather control experiments since the late 1960's and with technology growing by leaps and bounds since then I believe they are tweaking new high tech-toys to see peoples reaction to it.To get it to snow in the whole American mainland (exactly 49 states) is quite a feat of perfection. The question is, however, is can the Government scientists come clean on weather modification that they made in some global weather bloopers and how is this kind of technology going to effect the global weather in the long run? It is clear to me that in any kind of experimentation there will be some mistakes made, and if they did, what are they going to do to repair the damages that have affected other nations?
