Amazing.... The people really have been clouded by the government. So they prefer to have a closed eye to America's empire and its crimes.... Yet, they'll happily point out other's crimes. The funny thing, these documents released aren't anything we already don't know. No need to be outraged, big brother takes care of us. Who cares if we occupy another's nation and arbitrarily bomb civilians. I guess that explains how Wall Street gets out of hand, how Washington gets out of hand. Some things are best unknown so we can continue just buying our big screen TV's and live our lovely suburban life.

The Dutch troops start leaving Afghanistan today. Canadian troops next year. The British are going by 2015 at the latest. This war is over for NATO. Only the USA( Apparently) is committed to staying. No amount of Russian help can shore up this NATO collapse. The Russian government had better make plans now based on a Taliban victory in Afghanistan.

I must say I am surprised by two things: The people's negative reaction to the TRUTH, and 2-The tendentious way the lady asking the questions behaved. To get the Right answers we have to ask the Right questions, and the way pseudo-journalists SPIN the news is by asking questions that already assume an outcome because they are based on the wrong assumptions. - They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin - I disagree with the people who is against knowing the truth, especially when as in this case, no real top secrets have been disseminated and it's more of a nuance what the 91 thousand papers show about the lies we are told of the daily happenings of war. It is clear the lady asking the questions has no idea what the leak says, because if she did, she would know Wikileaks, Der Spiegel, The Observer and NY Times took all names that would identify soldiers for two weeks BEFORE leaking it. NY Times gave advance notice to Obama this was coming. I am disappointed on the gringos who so easily give up their own responsibility to know the truth and assert themselves civicly, and for the shoddy journalism displayed by the RT lady who I wouldn't dare call "journalist". This sort of "news" are the support of tyrants.

Over an hour ago I posted a message here where I criticise the way most US residents in NY York accepted their government to lie to them, and also criticised the suggestive language the RT reporter used when asking the questions, and I see you have not posted it. Do you have a censorship policy? or is it because I criticised an RT questioner? I've been enjoying your RT reports for years now and I have been recommending to others to watch you on line, but this attitude of censoring what some people may say that you don't like, is unprofessional, and does not help you to learn from your mistakes. - I'll explain what I mean about placing the questions in a a tendentious way. The first question the RT presenter asked was, "Should they have released SUCH A SENSITIVE information?" and from then on she was on a roll. The next SPIN question was "Is there anything the public shouldn't know?" of course the are some things regarding the country's defense information that shouldn't be released, the question is preposterous. You shouldn't release the codes to send out nuclear bombs for example. But whatever these wikileaks had, all names had been removed by the FOUR Media outlets in order to protect persons. When she says"...but out of 90 thousand reports....." suggesting that there's gotta be some sensitive material the people shouldn't know..... she really went overboard because that is challenging the responder to agree with a totally false assumption. If you want to be respected, act respectfully of others. Censorship is a lack of respect. -- "Only the small secrets need to be protected, the big ones are kept secret by public incredulity" Marshall McLuhan

I find it bordering on bizarre that Ms. Harfenist and RT continue to interview mainly men in Times Square?! Are they so unaware that women are , at least, 50% of the population? Unfortunately, we are having to recoup in Afghanistan from having dropped it in 2002 to invade Iraq. But, as Joint Chief of Staff Admiral Mullens notes, "We have the right strategy (in Afghanistan)." We are gradually turning defense of their country over to the Afghan people. We must do what we can to implement and protect the security and rights of Women and girls in the country.

PATHETIC! That was the most pathetic street interview I have ever seen. Americans have no idea about anything! It's no wonder they have been taken over by Oil companies.
