An admirable initiative. However, you're never going to gain sufficient traction to make a meaningful difference if you just trade on the idea of being 'libertarian'. Been there, done that. That's staying on the level of the problem. The answer to the major Crisis point that humanity is at is to go neither left nor right but up. And I don't mean in a religious sense. I mean in a spiritual sense. The overriding sense that the universe has purpose, and that purpose is Good. (And nondenominational.) We have to go for the big one now: ascension, to a higher level of understanding, and civilization. And to do that, we need to release the training wheels of interest-bearing money, and the profit motive. Replacing them with the ultimate motive: To give of our best, to ourselves and each other, in gratitude for the gift of life, in a purposeful process. If you don't believe it, then it's each person for him or her self and look out: nothing matters but Me. But really, it's not a matter of belief. It's a matter of action on a bedrock truth. Owning our potential, as spiritual beings having a human experience. Not a bad place to be. And time to be in. Of course, no one promised us a rose garden. But when the going gets tough..... A renewed America: Here we come. Back to our roots. Back to the future.

A yearly meeting hanging out in Las Vegas isn't going to change anything. The days of the people having a say in what the US government are over, the little malitias running around thinking they can battle the government is a joke. America is done and will quickly become a poor and self destroyed country and that wheel is already spinning so fast no one can stop it and certainly around talking about will do nothing.

I agree with you 100% and that is why I support the NI4D. It is the only thing that us Americans can do to take control of our government. We've got to cut to the chase and fast. At present all we are doing is spinning our wheels and begging our government for power that they have stolen from us. We need the NI4D and we need to get the word out about it. So few people know about it and then there are thoses that do know about it but have misconceptions about it. NI4D = Freedom!

The Libertarian Party is not new. We've been here since the 1980's. Ron Paul is not exactly our 'fearless leader' although he was our most recent Presidential Candidate. The Bush failures and the Obama disasters are proving to be a good thing for us. People are angry and finally looking for an alternative. We are gaining membership mostly from Republicans who say 'I'm a Conservative but I'm no longer a Republican.' Libertarians are fiscal conservatives who believe in limited Government but we are also Social moderates who believe individuals have the right to live their lives as they choose provided they do not interfere with someone else's right to freedom of choice and action. They Revolution we started 30 years ago is finally happening. It will be a non-violent, bloodless revolution using votes instead of guns. Our membership pledge: I hereby certify that I do not believe in or advocate the initiation of force or fraud as a means of achieving political or social goals.

This could be a good thing if they also add opposition to CORPORATE INTERFERENCE AND EXPLOITATION as one of their aims and do not end up being incorporated into the democratic or republican parties.
