Just another beautiful Russian woman marrying an American man because she knows she will get treated with respect and dignity.

I think its funny to asssume or say that American men will automatically give respect and dignity. Could this be just another woman lacking a father figure as she was growing up? Might put a freudian kink in their relationship when she accidentally calls him "Daddy." Rourke has his own problems. She is just a temporary band-aid. I dont understand why anyone would say the West would have problems with this. Seems to me its rather 2nd wife, 3rd wife, 4th wife, etc typical of money and stardom.

KJ This union could be OK for a couple of years but then a cocu in the making; then divorce and financial warranties for the still young lady. I have a name for that kind of "love" but it is not very polite. A sincere love story, even for stars, with such an age's difference is kept quiet and not publicised. Sorry but I don't beleive in it...Neverheless, I wish to be mistaken...God Luck ! Jean-Claude Meslin

Whatever we might think of Rourke's character, one thing for sure, he knows the finest women in the world are Russian.

Mickey Rourke is so sick-looking, almost as if he we're in a horrible car accident that tore his face off and, as a result of spending so much money on booze, could only afford a low-rent plastic surgeon.

It is a shame that Russian womans are into marriage just for dollars. There is no love at all. I cant only understand how you Russians can promote fact that your womans go abroad to search for a man. Same situation is here in Serbia. Where are dignity and family values? Where is effort to stay and help Russian country by good family life and raising a lot of children ti improve birth rate? That is somethin you shoul promote. Greetings from Serbia

This message is for all you American naysayers, particularly American women. One trip to Russia was all I needed to discover what a real woman is all about. Russian women are not only the most beautiful in the world, they are also proud to be women, delight in being "homemakers", and know how to treat a man. So, I have been happily married to one, have two beautiful children, and have no regrets. I sincerely thank you Mother Russia!!!
